Morning wan.

Chart looks good on RBD to go on a run, Pershing Nominees Limited failed to oust the board, think it's given Stephen Williams and Sachin Oza a kick up the backside to get thinks moving quicker at E/Newton both bought shares in RBD yesterday.

Mining is a slow and capital extensive business. I think they are progressing just fine. Patience please.

100k seems a low number?
As opposed to what?
To others definition of mid tier? To current production?
It probably is low compared to many definitions of mid tier but does that matter?
They can call it a pink elephant level of production, they’ve spelled out it means 100k Au equivalent to them and we currently produce under 60k. Seems like a decent aim to me.
100k is 100k whether you call it mid tier, junior mid tier, junior junior tier, toddler tier, whatever.

Excellent news covering the short term.
Will presumably move back to in series processing if warranted by the ore.
Garadagh/Xarxar will require a larger plant in the medium term. Or perhaps a similar size plant to double up again?
:)

glad someone is doing well on HVO I will be back in profit tomorrow hopefully. I averaged heavily up and down could not see how it would get to 10p area it was a mockery of what the company has and is doing. To start the rise it is doing just now I think it had to shake of the stale bulls and get new people buying in, the IC article seems to have got the juices flowing in some people and the positivity will feed on itself I hope. I am holding till the spin offs are sold and then the company. Its not going to lose money even in this recession. I dont post much about it here as I truly was confused as to how it got so low and was worried there was something going on I was not aware of.
All in own opinion, no advice intended, I am not a financial advisor, do not listen to anonymous posters on financial notice boards

jeansey, I don't think it is company specific 'good news' which is needed to take us to 100p. I see further weakness in PMs while US interest rates continue to rise, and potential sharp falls in PM prices if market hopes that the FED is taking its foot off the pedal are dashed. There is also a world diesel shortage. Both supply and price of diesel are critical to miners. I remain on the sidelines as regards PM miners (I have not topped up any for 12 months) and expect to remain so for the next 3 months at least unless world energy supply proves to have adjusted much better than at preset appears to be the case.

The weakness in the copper price is also a drag. Longer term, coper seems to me to be a place to be, and plenty of PM miners also produce copper. Patience (that rarest and most difficult of all investment disciplines) seems to me still to be the order of the day.

I continue to look for dips to buy the royalty companies.

you miss the main point in your post on PRD... its found gas its is just a question of it flows and at what rate. Flow testing wasn't done on first well on the fan as the pressure was too much for the rig. A desktop review of the data shows the gas is there. The second well is in the main body of the gas and 'should' hit it, again very high pressure but they have the right rig this time and just have to see how it flows then they will flowtest the first well. Still a risk obviously but the market is pricing this very low considering what is expected to be found on this drill, the odds of no flow still remain but if its there then the upside is potentially substantial so high return for low investment, my kind of drilling odds.
Regard the 2 directors who KS and I talked to Paul is a cantankerous old man with masses of experience who will go after anyone who has crossed him having been done over before hence the name Predator for the oil company he is turning the tables. He is not running about ramping the share he is just waiting for the results. I believe he is very genuine and not a ramper and he is heavily invested. Lonnie who I talked mainly to is a straight up honest engineer with a lot of experience, he says what he thinks and that's it. A typical oil engineer. The pair of them are very believable and are not out there pumping it they are just presenting facts. In conversation they try hard to avoid ramping the company.
It all seems the real deal to me and the odds of success seem high. The fact Pro is ramping it however concerns me. If we spud and I am sitting on a big gain I think I will derisk a little as you never know, currently 25% in profit.
