22/11/2022 09:43 | @pogue Large institutional investors generating pressure to achieve are certainly no better at producing success in junior miners | jbravo2
22/11/2022 09:40 | Oh everyone agrees we wish it was moving faster wan. The main step to mid tier comes from either the move into Garadagh/Xarxar (some details of which should be covered in the upcoming growth strategy) and/or from the move into Kyzilbulag/Demirli (which is entirely dependent on a peace deal/another war) If both land you’ll see a huge increase and then we’ll be borrowing plenty. They could get the debt tomorrow if they wanted but they have to finish the analysis/plan for Garadagh/Xarxar before they can move on that. The other is non-moveable til access is granted. | jbravo2
22/11/2022 09:17 | Excellent news of the expansion of its flotation plant, which will be doubled in capacity, and provide additional operational flexibility. "Anglo Asian is at the beginning of its next phase of growth, as we prepare to bring a number of new mines into production. The development of our medium-term growth strategy is well underway and we need to increase our processing capabilities to accommodate additional ore production”. Their choice of contractors Maelgwyn Mineral Services (based in Cardiff) are a world leader in the development and application of advanced technologies for the mineral process. One Imhoflot cell has been under test at Gedabek since April 2022 and it has produced excellent results. Tried and tested technology well in hand for short and medium term expansion, including zinc processing. Maelgwyn aslo published Recovery of fine gold loss to tailings using advanced pneumatic reactor flotation Imhoflot, so perhaps Aaz already have one eye on soon to be redundant tailings pond and its content estimated to be $30ml of contained metals. | bleepy
22/11/2022 09:00 | Wan AAZ is a retirement home I feel sometimes for retired directors they keep taking the divis and salaries and keep pottering about getting to feel as though they are doing something. There is no pressure on them to achieve anything due to lack of any large institutional investors. | pogue
22/11/2022 08:59 | That's great taking on a load of debt to progress quickly but it doesn't always benefit shareholders. The minute you take on debt Mr Market panics every time there's a downturn and crushes the sp, so many fallen victim to debt piles, I'd have personally preferred a raise at 200p | sharekitchen1974
22/11/2022 08:54 | anyone else having trouble with advfn feeds this morning,,, they are very slow to load on my screens?? Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
22/11/2022 08:48 | AAZ - I just get a little frustrated as it seems to me they have all the ingredients to become much bigger than they seem to be aspiring to and in a much shorter timescale,,,, but, that would take them out of their comfort zone of running a limited company in plc clothing.. and it's their decision to go about what they have in the way they want to, so who am I to grumble,,, if I don't like it I can move on etc etc.... the potential seems incredible,,, if only they could take on some debt and go at it hard and a bit faster,,, that's all I'm saying I guess...... but, no, nothing wrong in what they are doing, as you say jb,,, it'll be a good step forward, even if I see it as a small one on the road to being so called mid tier :-) Cheers Wan :-) edits,,, and so far today Mr Market seems accepting of their approach which I guess means this is as it expected and nothing more or less,,,, which is good as last thing i wanted to see was a miss alignment of market expectations sending the share price back into that downward channel,,, so,,, so far, all good on that front :-) and also, I suppose the world has changed in regard to financing debt, it ain't as cheap as it used to be etc etc... and having none, plus paying a divi is supporting current share price etc etc... the mind keeps boggling :-) | wanobi
22/11/2022 08:38 | fingers crossed you are correct DP :-) Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
22/11/2022 08:35 | many thanx av68,,, yes, maybe,,, needs to get above 0.3 now :-) Cheers Wan :-) free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | wanobi
22/11/2022 08:35 | Rb - yep, two decades to turn around and basically say they don’t know what they’re doing, time to give someone else a go. I bet Jim Mellon is chuffed 🙄 | bumpa33
22/11/2022 08:33 | Pogue - no surprise they’re going to try and discourage you asking more awkward questions. I used to go to AGM’s and investor meet and greets etc but concluded that 90% of the time it was pointless. They’re attended by sheep with a few people there to keep the sheep in line just in case one or two naughty ones cause trouble, like asking awkward questions! As said I’ve no idea of the directors nor the play, but the advisors are bottom rung. Doesn’t mean they’ve no chance, the same way top ranked advisors don’t guarantee success, but they’re often a decent indication of likely outcome. | bumpa33
22/11/2022 08:30 | TBH I don't think the actual level of production matters as much as the direction of travel. We need to get into a period of growth, and that is happening now. Once we get clarity on the status of the other mines there could be a step change in production levels, but if we can show we are growing production, keeping costs under control, and maintaining dividends that should be enough to support an share price in the £1.30-70 zone | donald pond
22/11/2022 08:28 | This won’t bring 100k by itself goldrush | jbravo2
22/11/2022 08:23 | Bumpa after all this time it’s quite hilarious. | riggerbeautz
22/11/2022 08:22 | wan They have talked before about Mid Tier being above 100k equivalent oz....As jb2 says above it looks a good target for now when we are producing just under 60k....nearly a 100% increase.....and they will achieve it in a shortish time horizon.....back to underpromise and over deliver IMHO which is good.... | goldrush
22/11/2022 08:16 | Bumpa I think the punters at PRD get themselves overly excited not the directors KS and I meet a few of the faithful in the bar with the directors they did scare me a little in their devotion but the directors did not seem to play on that rather just answer their questions as best they could, problem was they did not like anyone putting more tricky questions to the directors as I found when interrogating Lonnie and they tried to discourage me oddly. They are based on LSE and some of them appear to be all in and expecting £s rises in the shareprice that does not mean the company is a bad investment though it just means you need to know when to get out before the herd. There was a man there that had heavily researched it and was very confident, sadly the posters worshipped him as a god. I cannot make out if he was a ramper or genuine having not met him only read his posts. He has put his Twitter feed on the board which is a brave thing if he is a ramper. Anyway I am in at a good punt level so not the end of the world. I fed in a little as I learnt more but I am very aware of the binary aspect of drill bits. It is not over if its a duster as it looks like their floating gas storge solution to Ireland's lack of gas storage may gain traction as the fanatic Green MP who is the energy minister in the coalition looks like he is going in December having done his best to ruin Ireland energy security in true Green fashion. If that comes of there is a lot of easy money to be made. Paul Griffiths has been talking to the government and lobbying in the newspapers for a change of direction so would appear in pole position with his solution however being a government contract anything could happen so not a certainty by any means however a longer term possibility of recovering losses in event of a duster. Thanks for your skepticism Bumpa made me think. | pogue
22/11/2022 08:15 | On the chart AAZ look like they've completed a perfect backtest of the trend line and are now ready to go. Fingers crossed. Over 20 years I've used ADVFN and still don't know how to post a chart....doh! | donald pond
22/11/2022 08:12 | low compared to many definitions of mid tier - yes, I think so,,,, smaller MCAP... Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
22/11/2022 08:09 | Morning wan. Chart looks good on RBD to go on a run, Pershing Nominees Limited failed to oust the board, think it's given Stephen Williams and Sachin Oza a kick up the backside to get thinks moving quicker at E/Newton both bought shares in RBD yesterday. | avsome1968
22/11/2022 08:05 | Mining is a slow and capital extensive business. I think they are progressing just fine. Patience please. | michaelfenton
22/11/2022 08:02 | 100k seems a low number? As opposed to what? To others definition of mid tier? To current production? It probably is low compared to many definitions of mid tier but does that matter? They can call it a pink elephant level of production, they’ve spelled out it means 100k Au equivalent to them and we currently produce under 60k. Seems like a decent aim to me. 100k is 100k whether you call it mid tier, junior mid tier, junior junior tier, toddler tier, whatever. | jbravo2
22/11/2022 07:52 | Year of delays? Eh? It’s online in 7 months | jbravo2
22/11/2022 07:50 | Good news re expansion to support the Company's ambition to become a mid-tier miner producing over 100,000 gold equivalent ounces per annum. | bountyhunter
22/11/2022 07:50 | Hopefully I'm reading this all wrong through bleary eyes this morning,, Cheers Wan:-) | wanobi
