Genuine move by PRD directors or neat way of crystallising in the money options (and into unsubordinated debt) without it looking iffy?

A placing in disguise at PRD has taken the price down.
Money to be used mainly to forward order long lead equipment for MOU-3, confident or what EDIT then again better to have cash for third well in the bank incase 2nd one fails... was typing faster than my brain lol. Some money to be used in Trinidad where they seem to have got their investment back on line after some mucky dealings where it looked like it was gone and some cash for Ireland in the hope that the Green lunatic in the Energy department post gets the boot next month.
The jam in the RNS is 'Strategic objective to demonstrate a potential gas field production profile of between 150 to 250 mm cfgpd' which has been mentioned is enough to do all off Morocco's needs and export to Spain as well. There is a pipeline 5km away that can be tapped into for export. Not a lot of CAPEX will be needed to get this potential field up and running.
Not happy that they have raised funds now rather than after flow testing however time is money.
Bear in mind this is a 2 man company effectively so they are working on a shoestring.

All in my opinion, not investment advice, I am not a financial advisor, shares can go up and down in price don't listen to people in financial chatrooms for investment advice DYOR. I hold.

Remember trading ZIOC, those early year investors need to have topped up if they held on. Looks like it’s turning up from multi year lows now.

ZIOC finally frees itself of the Glencore shackles - could be significant but still the main issue is heaven only knows where/how they’ll get the necessary project financing - it’s a monster, even in the cut down version.

Good points made today regarding Aaz, from most on this board. I agree with many and share the frustrations regarding the pace of progress. However, how much staffing resource does the company have to move on multiple fronts at the same time?
Ensure steady production, assess Azergold reports, move on vejnali, liaise with government on access to new areas, let alone develop at this stage, increase processing capacity and infrastructure to support Zafer, etc etc. Have I missed anything? Meanwhile we receive a nice divi.
I think I will stick with them for a while yet.

Wan
sorry missed your post there.
What will change, simply I assume they will eventually get the new prospects online and the price will rise as profits do, slow process as they are not in a hurry despite their protestations, I dont see they need the money at that time in life and the divis and salaries are doing them just fine. I don't see anyone buying the company, the main share holders are not going to sell the family business despite Bill's once mentioned rumour of a takeover. Hunker down and let time do its thing.

No worries Pogue.

P.s would post longer replies but in a taxi heading to the embankment, been invited by a mate to a Charity Ball tonight that SHI(SIG) are sponsoring; gives me chance to catch up with eldest in town tomorrow too. I’m a kinda max out guy and don’t dwell on directors words either, action’s always speak louder than words a.t.b

RB
I have spoken to Bill on 2 occasions after Proactive presentations I didn't find he gave out much to be honest. I speak to many CEOs after presentations or at events I judge people a lot on how they reply to questions and their attitude. I didn't find him the most tolerant to being asked difficult questions to be honest fine with ones he wants to answer which puts him at average not someone I distrust but certainly someone I am going to be careful with what they say.
As for wasting energy complaining I avoid the other board deliberately so as I don't waste any emotion 'complaining' as I found out its a waste of time certain people don't tolerate it and delete my posts, shot the messenger is the attitude there. I like to think I point out more honest facts rather than complain to be fair. When the AAZ topic arrives here I point out my opinion but I dislike condescending replies hence the negative reaction to Jbravo. Sometimes I let my temper go as other methods of communication seem pointless with myopic posters.
If I was short I would be on the other board regularly trying to work on posters attitudes there.
Thanks for your reply I dont find you myopic for the record and enjoy your posts.

AAZ is a very very frustrating situation!!

I bought a load more at 115p-120p, so probably own some of your shares kk :-)

and, much like Rb, I continue to hold,, only,, as I believe in the prospects and the current AAZ teams ability to turn a profit out of them,,,, if I didn't I'd take the hit on those shares and more...

rightly or wrongly, only time will tell, I decided to keep taking the divi's whilst those prospects are realised, albeit at a glacial pace (to me anyhow) :-)

but, who knows what will happen here as time goes by,,, a cheeky offer from a bigger fish,, a more aggressive new management team,, current management taking it private,, and so on....

so far 80p is holding...

GLA

Cheers
Wan :-)

Probably wise for you to do so Pogue :) Good of you to respond, you know I don't really post on the other thread, seldom post on many other threads at all, so I get your comments, people don't like others going off topic, I pretty much always do.

I've been to 3 AAZ AGM's now, the likes of Bill and Stephen don't shy away from conversation after either. Don't need to be part of an "in crowd" to do so. Compared to many boards, always found them transparent myself. I'm equally frustrated by the pace and P.R and it's the prospects, going forward, why I stick around too. If I didn't believe in them though, I'd have long sold; certainly wouldn't spend all my energy moaning on bulletin board, unless of course I had ulterior motives - not suggesting that of yourself :)

Good afternoon all. Still enjoy reading this thread.

Pogue, I can see where you are coming from. It is never easy sitting on big losses and being attacked. Myself, I sold out at 118p when it was the same excuses all the time from management.

You will see the same few people backing management non stop. Truth be told they are probably just as upset but not wanting to admit it to themselves for not selling out at 150p+. The potential in profits they have lost can not be easy. You will see those that bought at under 30p are always backing the management. Let see how they feel if the price was to go back there again.

I have heard it said, never fall in love with a company, never be overly confident, or be prepared to lose a lot of money.
