STCM CAML both good dividend payers if that's part of what you're looking for and you don't mind companies operating abroad. Worth looking into, but it's just my opinion.

also, just re-reading your post,,, as someone said to me early on in my journey,,,, you'll need to be clear whether you are short term trading or longer term investing when you take the plunge to buy a stock as the game/approach is very different for each approach,,, although you can do both in a single stock,,,, hold for the long term, collect dividends,,, but also use a trading pot to trade the peaks and troughs of the share price,,,, should you have the time to do all that and want to do so etc etc :-) :-) Good luck :-)

Cheers
Wan :-)

welcome Dpt,, tricky one to answer as you can see from the results of the odsjp competition this year,,,, link below,,, it's been a tough one!!!

however, I guess the obvious one to start with would be AAZ as a lot here and on the main AAZ thread, brilliantly run by Mj for many years,,, (link below,,,) have a holding, or have had a holding in the past, or are at least aware of them :-)

some great posters there and here :-)

you'll have to make up your own mind to invest or not as none of us make recommendations, tips, sure-bets,,, give investment advice etc etc,,, we voice our opinions,,,, post research, fears, hopes and so on,,, but accept that at the end of the day we all make our own decisions, our own mistakes,,, but hopefully feel more comfortable in doing so with further knowledge than we might have if doing so alone,,, perhaps :-) :-)

feel free to ask questions,,,, and in regard to AAZ,,, most importantly, ask them on the main AAZ thread where there are some very experienced guys with detailed knowledge and personal contacts with AAZ management etc... 3 of them have visited the mines!!!

we all wish you the very best of luck :-)

Cheers
Wan :-)

GreenX Metals #GRX up 43%+ on their arbitration claim news.

#LIT who are funding the claim (and could potentially get a third of the £740m) have not even RNS'd the news - yet.

LIBERO COPPER ENTERS MUTUAL BENEFIT AGREEMENT WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY FOR THE EXPLORATION OF THE MOCOA COPPER PROJECT IN COLOMBIA

LIBERO COPPER ENTERS MUTUAL BENEFIT AGREEMENT WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY FOR THE EXPLORATION OF THE MOCOA COPPER PROJECT
IN COLOMBIA
Vancouver, British Columbia, November 29, 2022 – Libero Copper & Gold Corporation (TSXV:LBC, OTCQB:LBCMF, DE:29H) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a “Cooperation Framework Agreement for Participation and Generation of Shared Benefits” for the exploration of the Mocoa copper-molybdenum deposit with the community of Montclar. The Montclar community is the only community near the Mocoa deposit. The objective of the agreement is “to provide a general framework of action between the parties of the agreement in order to join efforts to generate shared value, improve the quality of life of the community and contribute to the success of the exploration project by increased understanding and cooperation with the community of Montclar.”

“We are extremely proud of the collective vision of both our neighbours and our team to build together the first project specific participation agreement for an exploration project in Colombia,” comments Ian Harris, President & CEO. “This is a major milestone for the project, and we believe it will represent a model moving forward for responsibly developing projects together while aligning with the government’s goals of community participation as both managers of building a joint vision of development, and guarantors of well-being.”

The agreement was executed on November 21st by Libero and the community action board, which is the elected governing body of the municipal subdivision of Montclar, the community closest to the Mocoa project. The execution of the agreement was approved and signed unanimously by all members of the board and supported by the underlying signature of over 95% of the families of Montclar. The agreement was the result of six “Good Neighbour” co-planning meetings with the community, which took place in 2022. The agreement focuses on co-success and encompasses efforts on open communication, co-planning, training, strengthening community governance, cultural preservation, traditional knowledge transfer, employment, capacity building for services, water protection, environmental participation, and planning of shared infrastructure.

No doubt at some point Wan, I think it’s core believers buying now, against those selling who feel nervous the bottom isn’t yet in because of lack of visibility. Big loss could become bigger still?

I would say SOLG is a better comparison. Ecuador in the present day, where local opposition and environmental impact aren't as easy to ignore as in Indonesia in the 70s.

Another small cap with low share turnover announcing a buyback, doing it every day, not pretending it's "difficult", and the share price responding.

#Bleepy on big mines, Ertsberg/Grasberg in Irian Jaya Indonesia built by Freeport McMororan from the 1970s is a good reference point, if the resource is big enough, they will build it and as LBC uncover these finds like Mocoa, there are companies that can take it on, how hard and remote it is becomes the challenge more than the problem.. :o)

Copper Co. Potentially Expands Deposit in Colombia

A soil geochemical anomaly could significantly expand the footprint and potential size of the deposit at Libero Copper and Gold Corp.'s Mocoa project in Putumayo, Colombia.

2022/11/28 15:33:07
Libero Copper and Gold Corp. (LBC:TSX.V; LBCMF:OTCQB) has discovered a soil geochemical anomaly that significantly expands the footprint and potential size of the deposit at its Mocoa project in Putumayo, Colombia.

Fieldwork at the site has identified a 2-kilometer-long by 1,000-meter-wide multi-element anomaly coincidental with the porphyry copper-molybdenum deposit at the site. It extends more than 500 meters north and south of the main copper-molybdenum soil anomaly.

“Libero is currently advancing systematic exploration on the Mocoa project and is continuing its soil sampling program, prospecting and mapping across the entire district scale property,” Red Cloud Securities wrote Nov. 16 in its Rocks Daily newsletter. “We view this announcement positively, as we believe the geochemical data suggests that Mocoa could be larger than currently defined and it further supports the view that Mocoa may be host to a clustered porphyry system.”

Red Cloud analyst Taylor Combaluzier has rated the stock Buy with a target of CA$1.40.
Additional discoveries and resource expansion at Mocoa are “two factors we believe are key to a potential rerating of Libero’s stock price,” the newsletter said.

Red Cloud analyst Taylor Combaluzier has rated the stock Buy with a target of CA$1.40.

That was fast on the charts Wan cheers.
The prospects look good longer term it seems a great project, extracting rare earths from mine tailings, very similar to SLP, not in a rush to buy as production is not until 2026 but some potential inflection points coming in the near term. CFO knew the game and was well ontop of what needs to happen and open about it. The CEO is a saffer who has set up more than a few mines in his time we actually worked at the same company once and know some of the same people, still he's a saffer which is not my favorite race lol very arrogant though he did a good job of suppressing it :0)

new recent closing high on TRT today .. yet, remains unloved and overlooked by 99.9%.
Keeps having these little 1-3% up days and therefore never on the top gainers list. The M&M's are making sure there is no chance for short-term traders to profit from the clear re-rating.
