Morning all,

Had a couple of random musings as I was 'getting ready for work' this morning i.e rolling out of bed..

1) For all our chat and analysis on these boards, it may only take one or two correct investment decisions to become 'the best investor in the world'?

2) I've been listening to some philosophically related stuff lately and one snippet that struck me is that to get the best out of life you need to take 'recoverable risks' - I think that is a good philosophy to apply to the stock market?

BUR has been in an uptrend since mad foetus mentioned to me here that it was going to list in the US and I bought for that, gracias MF have a virtual beer on me. I suggest its pretty obvious that there should be a rise soon when it lands there chart or no chart telling us.
That's is cursed now mind you DYOR etc.

BUR shaping up for possible breakout/fakeout of ascending triangle. Close yesterday was highest since the drop started in Feb. I bought a few partly to diversify out of PMs but also as a legal company there should be plenty of business to be had in the covid aftermath.

hmm, seems, the narrative of low interests rate for the foreseeable, more QE, weaker dollar,,,, effect upon PriceOG,,,,,, has been dampened down by the prsopect of zero inflation for some time to come..... comments etc etc

Winston66. Ah'yes the Gaps !! Momentum gaps don't get filled. The gap at 80P I feel is a Momentum gap.
I always hold X amount of dry powder.
Especially now, as no one knows what may happen in the Market if we get a 2nd wave of COVID-19. Everyone has to make their own decisions and play the market accordingly. I do things my way.
NAI and I hope there is no second wave as I care for people and lives.

Thanks for the reply, it's very much appreciated.
I did trade a few on the way up, which has added a few pence to the average of 76p.
It's obviously a binary choice, as you say for the long term it shouldn't make much difference, although the counter argument is take the higher price 29% shares off the table now, to have in reserve to buy back in should bad news come along. An insurance policy if you like.
That's the conundrum. Bad news and it's likely to hit a price around my average. Good news and it could double from here and as Wan has told us there are gaps at £3 and 80p waiting to be filled. My inclination, as always on long term plays, is to hold. Blautix news is imminent, there could be a Nasdaq listing, CV19 trial news could come anytime, news of a takeover or licensing deal and I'd be surprised if Merck don't give 4D a mention in next weeks pod cast, so there are plenty of potential upside catalysts on the horizon.My strong inclination is to hold and once again thanks for taking the time to respond.

You have put me on a bit of a tight spot here with 4D. You see I did not buy into it in the low 40's. I always mostly follow the trend. I think my first buy was in the 70/80 P's .
Also like Stig says there is still a lot to be gained with 4D yet. If you take profits now,what would you feel if 4D continued to climb?
I mostly invest and rarely ever trade.
Have you got another share that you would invest into after selling your first stake in 4D? If not then I would suggest just stay put.
I first bought into AAZ in the 16P range and continued topping until the 90 Ps.
The same with AVCT,PUR,etc,etc POG, I sold out because of the politics.
I have made more money by sitting on my hands then moving around in various shares.
NAI and ofcourse we at the end of the day make our own decisions.
No share continues to go up. There are always the troughs to go through. The main point being what your average is and how much of your portfolio % is invested in 4D. All after doing your DYOR etc.

Interims must be imminent now. Q3 update in four weeks time.New JORC in the next two weeks.Gedabek underground mining achingly close. (& i have been advised by the company that photos of this will be uploaded to website).There is a lot of news coming down the pipe in a relatively short time now and i am sure some this news will give shareholders a lot more to be interested in than has been the case of late.If current Gold trend persists, we'll be back at $2,000 around start of October .. The FED has not frightened the horses this close to USA election (as almost a guarantee) but, their next meeting with comments is the day after the USA election & maybe then we'll get a more straightforward opinion. September usually the weakest months for equities in the calendar year so, come a little closer AAZ investors on ADVFN as we get into Q4 & the fireworks .. there will be the usual nuggets in the AAZ RNS newsflow & here is the place to sensibly dissect those nuggets.
