it may indeed be rather slow going but, AAZ has made a constant series of higher lows ever since the March Covid-induced broader market sell-off and returned back to the 173p level.
Since then it has dropped back to this 140p level and found some strong support (once again)
I'm still persuaded it is a big Cup with Handle pattern (albeit disfigured by Covid) & that there are genuine grounds for optimism that we will soon be breaking into new ATH's.
Just needs a 'volume event' of some description &, hopefully, near-term news will provide that catalyst:

At current gold prices and based on the 80k production target, the company is grossing a profit close to $2 million a week. That's circa $100 million a year for company currently valued at a tad over $200 million. Seems a bit bonkers doesn't it?

Wan, I think those STCM results this morning are excellent. Compared to interims in 2019:

1) Profits after tax increased from $3m to $4m (even including a $600k foreign exchange LOSS, due to currency devluation in the period)

2) From net debt position of $1.1m to positive net cash position of $6.4m - including payment of a dividend.

3) Still a net cash position of $3.7m as at end August after paying this years dividend.

4) $11.6m of operating cash flow for the 6 months

Only downer is a slight drop in production and revenues due to Covid price impact in Q2, but they have more than offset that with lowering production/distribution costs and actually increased profit.

I am v impressed and think STCM remains extremely cheap at £55m market cap. Expect the dividend to grow next year in my opinion (now that debt almost gone).

the way I see Gold Cinoib: it broke out of the flag on Monday, checked back inside it yesterday and has now resumed its breakout beyond the downtrend line. Classis sort of TA action & it should be bought on that pattern.
A rising Gold price back towards $2,000 as the mining sector H1 results season gets underway with all the miners reporting record financials. You'd expect AAZ to get towed up in the broader sector re-rating

looking forward to the imminent H1 divi confirmation. Goodness knows how big the H2 divi might be given gold price.
Oh for a real-time satellite feed :-) … i'd love to see the terrain now from Ugur towards Avshancli and Gilar & also the backwall of the Geabek pit

This is actually up slightly today at mid price.....it was a high closing auction price than the mid price yesterday....
