13/9/2020 16:17 | I am struggling to call one this week so many options for once all bar one in Pharma. AVCT seems to be gaining momentum, EVG has had a subtle hint from Bumpa of good news this week and we all know does seem to get useful info, DDDD maybe on the rebound back up, in the miners PXC is definitely gathering momentum and is my second equal choice with EVG this week but this tweet today talking about a new machine just arrived with 0.5 million capacity from ODX will get the money flowing Monday morning as people put 2 and 2 together I hope, feeling good there as I topped up on Friday. | ![]() pogue
13/9/2020 14:49 | Thanks everyone. Happy to continue and as goldrush mentions it does highlight some interesting candidates. I will wait a few more hours for any share changes for next week and will then post the starting chart. A number of shares are due news in the next few weeks, so hopefully we will see some major movement in our favourites, AAZ, CGNR, AVCT, PXC, DDDD and so on. | ![]() odsjp
13/9/2020 14:28 | Well said wanobi and wholeheartedly agree that odsjp is be thanked very much !! The competition has shown a number of interesting investment candidates 😀😀 This week my considerations are PXC, CGNR and AAZ....again want to catch up to Bazboa, ilostitall and excellance. PXC is starting to rerate and the next drilling news should confirm it has the goods to those who are holding back from getting in.The news is expected imminently....I think it could be in a weeks time so a 10% share price increase this week and double (20%+)that next week.... CGNR....The deal with AAZ must be close and is starting to look overdue and with drilling plan announcement etc it could double.....people will want those warrants at 35p, which when taken up give further warrants at 1GBP....AAZ is ready to bounce and with the right RNS including CGNR news should move.....so could be 10/15% My conclusion for this week I am going to go with CGNR hopefully for a big gain....All IMHO | ![]() goldrush

Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi | |

13/9/2020 10:28 | Will be interesting to see over time how the board here does cumulatively with the weekly picks and whether or not we beat the market on average during bull and bear phases, although I think having a weekly pick probably makes it easier to beat an index because you can be 'in and out' around periods of expected news etc? | ![]() king suarez
13/9/2020 09:43 | I'll switch back to EUA the AGM is Friday so it's a gamble as to whether the news is quicker there than AVCT, tossed a coin! | ![]() indyanna

12/9/2020 16:17 | Yup we live in a faux democracy and the only way to address the failings of our representative democracy, where the politicians are only interested in the people they are supposed to represent at election time, is to move to a form of direct democracy, along the lines of the Swiss model. | ![]() captain james t kirk

12/9/2020 13:47 | Gold finger, the situation in Sweden was I believe more complex than you make out. Most tables seem put them at about 5th in Europe for number of deaths per capita. And their GDP dropped by 8.6% second quarter. No, they didnt have a national lockdown, but research shows that the Swedish population have a relatively high faith in their public institutions (dont know about the UK but I imagine its a lot lower). So the govt 'request' for social distancing was met fairly positively. People worked from home where possible. Use of restaurant and hospitality dropped dramaticlly as people ate and socialised at home. Use of public transport was much reduced. Schools practised social distancing. etc etc. They didnt just carry on as normal. And this has nothing to do with controlling the masses. It is a global pandemic, pure and simple. The masses are already mostly pacified in the country. We have toothless opposition parties and 80% of the press is owned by a handful of billionaires, therefore hardly free. The state has a vast apparatus of military, police and surveillance at its disposal. Having to wear a bloody mask and not go to the pub for a couple of months hardly makes a jot of difference. | ![]() actonovator
12/9/2020 13:09 | Shanta Gold presented a couple of times last week. I'm struck by the number of new institutions on their share register. Come on Anglo Asian, buck up your ideas! | goodgrief
