The bod has told us after the results that they know what investors are looking to hear in the much anticipated update tomorrow

It is this lack of info that has held the price back here while other miners have progressed considerably more

We know the brokers are lined up to issue new notes which would not be the case unless something very significant is going to be said

Morning.

I’d be interested for peoples views on Altyn. I have a significant investment in it and consider it one of the best risk reward plays in the gold miner space. Not without risk and a somewhat chequered history but a recent $20million debt based capital injection for new plant appears to be improving production. The main point is they have 5.25 million oz of Jorc reserves with another 3 million resources and could double that over time. The assets are world class. Reminds me in some respects of AAZ and where they were 3-4 years ago... all the best.

MF - I agee with your post completely,,,, the CEO is a great scientist I think,,, but, businessman he is not,,, his company has so much potential and yet he's playing around with a bunch of chancers, when he should be taking a little more time, care and effort in building networks with the big boys in the industry.... but then, what do I know LOL,,, happy for him to prove me completely wrong :-) LOL GLA Holders, Cheers Wan :-)

Having made £7m each from AVCT in 7 weeks the vultures want more. Zeus are bad news and the boss of AVCT out of his depth. Those are facts imo. Whether AVCT makes profits from this quicker than they otherwise would is another question, but I know I'd sooner be Hughes & Kamani, they will have a deal with all the upside and little risk I imagine.

AVCT - we just don't get enough detail with AVCT RNS's Bumpa,,,, just hope they have not excluded themselves now from striking other distribution deals with the much more established, well known, trusted brand,,,, big pharma's out there.... if the CEO has done that,,,,, to me,,, massive school boy business error..... we shall see :-) LOL,,,,, I'm sure though, today, Mr Market will no doubt like it :-) but then you never know with Mr Market,,,, see where we go :-) GLA Cheers Wan :-)

Helping friends seem to be a theme at AVCT looks like this is similar which would worry me normally, I rate straight management very highly on the AIM.

I think the chart matt put up yesterday tells you everything you need to know.
Popping it head out the down trend from last years high in September. In a uptrend channel from the low in march. But the telling thing is the volume has been dropping.All positive for a big breakout when news does finally arrive.

I am heavily invested in here. But if you look at other gold miners and their performance since the start of this year, this is in my opinion the share that has the most to catch up. So as long as we get the news we are expecting,i can see a stellar rise her at some point.

We are still lower than what we were at the start of the year.
In that time frame gold has risen 15%.

last August at 9:00 and another, something on divi payments at - oddly - 9:31.

Great performance today, up 6p despite there being more sells than buys (I make it 78,861 v 132,875, with the final trade 11,550 at mid price).

Having listened to Crazycoops' market maker interview, today's price rise tells me there's either a buyer in the background, or the MMs have marked the shares up in anticipation of positive news. Hoping it's both!

PS well done to the AAZers who hold AVCT too. I know there are a few of you. What a stunning performance. Imagine if AAZ did the same... £10 a share in 2 month's time!!

i'm eagerly looking forward to something nice as well. just a bit apprehended if anything slightly and i mean the slightest bit shy of amazing is released OR if we don't get an RNS, this never ending supply of selling will surface again.

dont get me wrong, i'm not complaining, just a little bit frustrated (or maybe more than a little bit) that our share price over the last 12 months has barely progressed despite the solid strength in POG and the fact that there has not been any negative for the company and the fact that probably every other bloody gold miner has put our price action to shame.

surely, I have to say a number of significant bits of news have been lagging which has been rightly highlighted by many on here but hoping that will be addressed very soon! GLA :)
