Wan - not necessarily the wrong decision for you to bail out of PTAL. It has only bounced back a little due to the oil price rebounding somewhat (and hence reducing the contingent liability potentially).

Any accounting questions you can ask away and I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge/capabilities. I am a qualified accountant, and would consider myself to be reasonably competent, but it is a broad profession with different specialisms and different treatments applicable to different industries, though core principles apply. I am still learning about different things outside of work as I am dealing with the same things in the day job, generally.

TXP - I guess some funds have to sell holdings regardless of company prospects. I would like more TXP but I can see the price getting away shortly.

Bumpa yes I’m happy to be patient there with a bit of a cushion and yes I saw those trades just before heading off on a bike ride and no they’re not retail.

Wan patience again, to be fair AA. are churning over big volumes, the dilemma will be whether they want fully out? Will let it come to me rather than chase it. If I miss it so be it. I’m quite relaxed with things at the minute and not chasing too many rainbows.

PTAL - learning all the time, KS,,, I probably should have just held those and not cut and run,,,, looking back, if it had just been a shut down because of cv19 I'd have probably just held,,,, but the financials in the RNS were just too confusing for me to judge in terms of risk at the time of the RNS,,,, so I sold :-),,,, when you came back with very little concern over the financials it was a bit of a,,,, doh!!!! Wan!!!! type moment :-) LOL LOL,,,, no worries though, all part of the game :-) LOL,,, cheers KS,,, ATB Wan :-) GLA

fozzie, just seen your post again from this morning, 36 shares in you portfolio,,, that to me is incredible,,, I think I got to 12 and just couldn't cope mentally with the load :-).... everyone is different, for me,,, I've learn't that 10 is my max and 5 my comfort zone, so I operate in between,,, right now, just the 8 holdings :-)... no right or wrong here,,,, just thought I'd tell you the limits of my capabilities in that respect :-) Cheers Wan :-)
