This might be a bit of a naive thing to say but nevertheless, would it be worth AAZ considering buying and stockpiling a large amount of oil/fuel while prices are so cheap ?

I am not the greatest charter, but on the daily chart we have been in a down channel from the high of last September. We have hit it twice since the end of april.
We are also in a up channel since the low on march 19.
They are both coming together now so one has to give.

From SPA Morning update:

Gold miners – Operating margins take off as costs fall while gold prices rise

• Operating margins for gold miners have taken off as costs fall and gold prices rise
• Many gold miners that were struggling to make ends meet at $1,100-1,200/oz gold have seen costs plummet
• Collapsed local currencies combined with a very substantial fall in oil prices has cut costs particularly for open cast miners.
• Reagents which are often derived from oil should also be cheaper.
• Margins in many cases have multiplied from <$100 oz="" to="">$500/oz.
• Gold prices are looking relatively solid at $1,730/oz for now

SP Angel recommended:

Producers:

• Anglo Asian Mining - consistent gold production from the Gedabey gold mine in Azerbaijan
• Chaarat Gold - growth focused FSU producer
• Rambler Metals and Mining - gold with copper production at the Ming gold mine

Developers:

• Scotgold - Scotgold is building Scotland’s first modern gold mine with production due within months depending on lockdown restrictions
• Kefi Minerals – Tulu Kapi project in Ethopia
• Condor Gold - preparing for project development in Nicaragua
• SolGold - 22moz of gold in Alpala project in Ecuador. The project is under evaluation and is backed by Newcrest and BHP Billiton.

Explorers:

• Altus Strategies – around 1moz of gold resource across a number of propspects
• Cora Gold - exploring in Mali along from Yanfolila Gold Mine Humminbirds
• Empire Metals - gold cap at Kvemo Bolnisi project overlying larger copper resource

Wan, your POG buy should show you a profit IMO when the Qt results come in just over a weeks time. So not long to wait.
POG ,is not only a gold miner,it is also a very Hi-Tech Co. Do a bit of DYOR on it and you will see what I mean.
Good luck with your buy of today.
As always NAI.

Apologise if a repeat post..

“The company is now debt free and has a robust balance sheet,” Zamani added. “Our geological exploration program made very good progress. We announced two new significant copper and gold discoveries at Avshancli and Gilar. The mineral reserves and life of our existing mines are being extended and several promising new mineral occurrences are under investigation.”;

Matt

Thanks for the slide....Guess it is from the CNR brokers note from SPA today. Shows indeed that we are incredible value for a producing miner. Our brokers note from SPA cannot be far away 🤞

M/F it could be a binary bet there because of the EV battery demand.
In a nutshell absolutely great resource but not good management. The BoD have bought shares @ 1.75 P and 2 P.
It is in the bottom drawer at the moment.
I did a valuation of the resource sometime back and it totals well over $30+Billions.

Gold looks like it has dipped back overnight to test that April Daily Closing high of $1,730 & quickly found support. Let's see if it pushes on for rest of the week & re-challenges $1,750

Just dripped in another 2k on the dip to 134.75p.

Are these sellers by the minute POG watchers btw?

Whatever, Bill Morgan's latest Proactive video interview gives as
good a heads up as one could reasonable expect that there will be
sp enhancing information out tomorrow and Thursday.

Firstly an exploration RNS focusing on Avshancli-Gilar + Ugur Deep
and how/when AAZ expect to move into development of new mines at these locations.
Secondly, om Thursday an explanation presentation on the matter, with a Q&A
opportunity.
Thirdly, updated SPA and Hardman's reports.
Surely the latter at least will promote both the value and growth prospect
in AAZ.

Who knows, an RNS may even land midday today as DP says.
Another day is nothing really though, given the months we've waited for
guidance on the above development-production prospects.

Below is from an Initiation Note on Condor Gold (CNR) by share price Angel this morning but, useful chart here.

AAZ certainly not expensive on this metric & shows the potential for upward valuation as/when we increase our Measured & Indicated resource figures.

"......Assessed in terms of enterprise value per ounce of gold resources classed as measured and or indicated. The median rating is US$57.59/oz. The highest rated AIM mining company in this respect is Shanta Gold at US$557/oz."
