So then. I suspect news tomorrow is more likely than Wednesday. Give us time to read the broker reports and get questions ready for Thursday

GAN has been over £3.00 equivalent intra day mf, it's a long term hold for me, I just cannot see anything likely to stop its momentum apart from a take out at hopefully a high multiple of today's share price The whole US will open up to online casino/gambling and GAN is well placed to capture a fair bit of business.

Looks my my prediction of a delayed reaction to the results before a steady climb was pretty good :-) (So far anyway (post 34958)

why is AAZ so cheap? Pe of 10x and a yield of 4%. Plus geared to a rising gold price?

what is there not to like?

I didn't retire early because of my investments, but through 20 years hard work and some luck in timing. Since then I live off investments and after 12 (so far very happy years) my pot is larger than when I retired. Can't complain about that.

Unlike some, I'm very heavily diversified, so would be concerned by some who report such a large proportion of their PF's in one stock. I'm a risk taker, but wouldn't risk it to that extent on ANY company.

Shock and ore?
You’re confused, that’s AAZ.
And you’re definitely confused about ADVFN, you’re meant to have crazy targets for your SP’s not how long you live. You want to live to 125?
What do you think you’ll be doing that last decade (or two)?

I am still working at 56, but it's a job I enjoy and I work in a very small office with three great guys. We have a lot of laughs and banter which keeps me sane. Kids are well on their own two feet now so just me and my wife to think abut. I have enjoyed being furloughed, I have read and read and read and walked and cycled and drank a lot of good wine. After working all my life with a max three week holiday at any one time the last eight weeks have been totally surreal. Looks like our business will be one of the last to reopen so at least another eight weeks off coming up. It's like a retirement trial, I've loved it! Thanks to all posters on this board, what a great bunch of people.

Mattjos, no I work, for myself so can take time off as and when I fancy as it's not the money I work for as I earn that on investments and I think most on here are missing the point. Work, whatever it is keeps you interested in life and keeps you fit and if you are fit you don't have tokeep visiting the doc's like a lot do. Other day was talking with someone and had to show my I.D. they were in shock and ore when they saw my birth date, they could not believe I was that old. The man thought I was in my early 50's when actually I'll be 70 next year and as fit as a lop. All to do with keeping fit and working on the land and growing your own. I don't have any intension (unless fate interviens.) of leAving this world before my 125 birthday. So keep pushing gold towards that $2200 mark and that should push my gold holdings up 1005 which when sold will go a long long way to my goal. What happened to the 139 I saw before I went out, some fool sell out. Don't they know gold is in a strong bull market.

What happens if Coronavirus is to Pharma what Y2K was to Tech sector ?

Causing a fundamental shift in allocation of investment portfolios ?

There may have been a dot.com bust in the immediate aftermath of Y2K but 20 years on the FANGS dominate the US Stock Indices

What happens if CV19 creates a plethora of future GSKs and AZNs

(DDDD and AVCT could be two such monster ASOS or ARM type stocks)

54 Durham. Working continental shifts in an oem car parts factory. I’ve been in the last month after furlough in April. Most are still furloughed. Uncertain how it’s going there.

MM's trying to shake out a bit of stock? Who would sell with gold getting stronger by the day, and the £ falling against the $.

Reminder KAT 2.5p should present an excellent short term trading opportunity as we are now in the home straight for company making funding decision due by end of May.

Its a microcap of just 5.5m and project is a 1.3m gold JORC resource (JV50%) that will be in production in 2021.

That set up should attract a flood of money this week and early next.

Traded up to 3.3p only a few weeks ago before agreement to delay funding to end of May. Excellent scoping study in the interim to back up the financials of the mine

It's up 10% today

I am East Midlands too. Spooky isn't it!
I am a fit 75, still do a little bit of free lance work, which I still enjoy and keeps the mind active. All sorts of lives and lifestyles are possible and as varied as there are people, no one size fits all.

I went to the University of Birmingham 25 years or so ago. Does that count? Hope to retire at or before 55.
