I’ve added slightly to AAZ, until I see anything detrimental I see no reason not to do so, whilst it remains cheap imo relative to others that have seen gains this year.

Blimey, the frustrations with AAZ seem to be getting 'louder' every day & I see more & more posters either selling down or imminently intending to do so.I do suggest that anyone feeling that way make the effort to be in touch with management and explain their thinking. The company has always been receptive and responsive to private investors feedback. There will inevitably be periods of consolidation after such periods of terrific price appreciation over the last 5 years but, I personally do not believe the 'story' is anywhere near over & whilst I appreciate that many people who trade / invest either professionally or semi-professionally do not ever seem to value dividends, they are maybe more important than usual just now.

looking at the recent selling i think a few have been offloading AAZ.The newsflow has been very frustrating recently. I'm not sure we will hear anymore with the results. Not long until those now at least.

steveal71, Got screwed in Scotland by a selfish, greedy vendor who wouldn't wait 1 day as the mortgage company was too slow and incompident. Found much more than I wanted, including a large house and land covered in trees for a fraction of the price in Scotland. So took the new wife there on honeymoon and house hunting at the same time and plumpt for a fantastic house, land, to dye for view and a seller who was willing to wait whilst we got all the cash together. Runs rings around the U.K. No not all perfect as you would expect will do for a few years.

I keep asking myself why are they not communicating over the obvious share price blockers you mention, telling the shareholders what is happening is the normal thing in well run companies. For instance they surely can tell us about the takeover approach last summer by now, something must have happened they can talk about! Too much secrecy worries me. If the blockages are resolved or at least positive guidance is given as you say the share will rocket. I am beginning to worry it maybe negative reasons information is not flowing otherwise why keep it so quiet?
Hope the results give some guidance otherwise I am going to reduce my holding significantly and add to my other gold miners as this will bumble along in a rising gold market if not. I bought POG at an average of 21p late Feb its up around 30% AAZ is down about 15% its making me think.

Matt

I cannot recall any time frame mentioned for the JORC. Is June optimistic?

I think they need to show some intent with these results. It feels like we have slipped into a consistent 75,000 GEO oz gold miner that pays out a good dividend. Two years back when the exploration programme kicked off it looked like a path to a 2m+ JORC within the 3 year time frame. I do not know where were are now. The situation with the government and short mine life do not help either. If 1 or 2 of these issues get resolved then I thin 250p will not be far away.

Looks like the pre results run up with AAZ is on, then the post results fall follows normally, will it be different this time?

Results this week & then updated JORC's in June? Been a long, long wait but, hopefully some more data to chew on shortly.GBP remains quite weak against USD so, dividend could be at a good conversion rate.

For large chunks of the day, the spread on actual buy/sell trades on ALTN can be as much as 20% as witnessed earlier today.

Wan, POG results due on the 27th. The share price have jumped up a bit today.
I think the share price will go over 30P before too long. PUR also went up nicely. Let's see what more AVCT has to say this week.
I was a bit surprised at your buy of FRES. Remember when I mentioned POLY to you? It was over £8 a share then and I said it was going to join the FTSE 100
well the share price is over £16 now.
Oh'what a game this is,like you say !!

Why not Wan, you’ve been here long enough now. Seems enough interested and from what I can see ALTN is turning a corner, hope you all make loads.

I’m going further and further into cash, bar resource holds, I’m just looking for more like AA. that I can do fairly safe quickish trades, potentially SHI is doing an AA. with construction starting back up, but need to look further as there is a lot of debt there.

When this market turns probably sometime around summer, I feel a lot will be dragged down again.

Wan just spent the last hour or more bailing out of GCM don’t like the merger with Gold x, no doubt Sprott benefits somehow but I can’t be bothered to look into it too many surprises keep knocking it back every time it goes forward.
