10/5/2020 09:50 | Evgen CEO (Stephen Franklin) leaving has been playing over in my mind, found this on his LinkedIn profile... Hi all - I have been inundated with calls and messages since yesterday's announcement, so I thought I would make a short post on my personal Linked-In account. Deciding to leave Evgen was a tough call, but one that I made in the best interests of the shareholders. The share price has been suppressed for a while and does not reflect the true and substantial value in the business. What is needed now is fresh vision and new energy to take it to the next stage. The Company remains a great business and I will continue to support them as a long-term shareholder. I intend to take a short break now to recharge and will resurface in due course. Thank you to all those that have sent kind messages at this time of change. I also cannot stress how great the Evgen Board and management team have been in the way that this transition has been dealt with - much respect, Steve Wan - any chance of sticking a permanent link to that article you posted? Could prove to be handy to revert back to, lot of great points/analysis there. | ![]() bumpa33
10/5/2020 09:46 | I would have a look at PXC fozzie. This one is very much under the radar. A gold/silver/copper play in Idaho with Great prospects, recent director buys instills further confidence. | ![]() jeanesy
10/5/2020 09:29 | Fozzie AAU is worth a gander imo. Nice chart, debt free, JV being finalised and some good resources still to be exploited | ![]() mad foetus
10/5/2020 09:26 | Wan G and R’s was very good article, gives me pause for thought on oil which I’ve been largely avoiding for several years, bar an odd couple of foray’s. As for gold predictions! | ![]() riggerbeautz
10/5/2020 09:21 | mad foetus I agree we have been kept in the dark here since we heard about things going on with the government almost a year ago.Since then we have only been fed the bare minimum. I have been looking for a few more junior mining companies over the last few day, as the wife has some money coming her way she want to invest. I have to say its impossible to find one that imo that could better AAZ. Most are at all time highs or resent all time highs. AAZ has to rise 42% to get to all time high.So unless we have a problem in the background which i don't believe there is, AAZ has 42% just to catch up with the rest. So i would be mad not to invest that extra money in here for her. Just depends on if the share price is still anywhere near this bargain price when the finally release her money. Bloody pension companies just don't like you transferring money out off them, this has been going on for six months now.It took four month for the company to agree to transfer her deferred pension. Now they are waiting for disinvestment of her additional voluntary contribution fund before they can proceed with the payment and transfer to her sipp. | ![]() gold finger 1
09/5/2020 22:16 | Wan thank you for the link to G and R's latest market commentary, you were right it's a long read but certainly worth the time. Seems odd that they see oil as a major opportunity, certainly gives me some comfort in maintaining positions in JSE, PTAL, SQZ, RRE and TXP. Precious metals is where they see the real action though. I have gold well covered with POG, AAZ, CNG, TSG, RSG and HUM. Anybody got any thoughts on other precious metal shares/funds worth looking into? | ![]() fozzie
09/5/2020 20:49 | B.t.w last 2 weekends been checking physical trade prices on P.M’s and I conclude they are mental right now, in theory everything is being overpaid whether it be by the Kilo, Oz or sovereign. Proof rates are ludicrous and some are off loading into this rise. Time will tell whether that is the case but many are out of kilter with spot. | ![]() riggerbeautz
09/5/2020 20:44 | Wan glad you are/have been enjoying the book, there’s a lot of good stuff in there. Besides putting up a new gate and staining it, last 2 days I’ve been reading another that is far lighter to digest, sometimes humorous containing trader stories by Robbie Burns, “trade like a shark”. It’s more an every day traders book, that Robbie has picked up from his seminars with odd reference to the “greats” Next week I’m onto Schiff’s book I think. You probably wonder why I read these books having read them before? Time, simply time, it’s like doing refresher courses and pays to hone your thoughts and iron out ill discipline. Always pick up good lessons. | ![]() riggerbeautz
09/5/2020 18:49 | Bumpa strange you mention Oil. I have been looking at PFC. The share price used to be over £10. I think Pogue still holds it. I took profits there a few years ago. That is where Pogue and me met. Wan the edge ? Could it be the Crona Virus right now and Gold ? No1- is the virus. What better Co.then AVCT? There are many like 4D etc. Witch one is the best positioned? N0 2 -Regarding gold? I hold AAZ,POG,PUR and TSG. I have tried to cover my investment that way NAI. Just my own way of investing. I buy in when the trend has set in. I mentioned POG, Icould have bought cheaper but I waited. I am not invested in Oil at the moment but may do so in the future. | ![]() callmebwana
09/5/2020 18:11 | Wan - 18954. That’s a great article, certainly worth reading in its entirety. A lot of supply is going to have been eliminated, when demand comes back, what price oil? | ![]() bumpa33

09/5/2020 17:55 | thanx cmb, at no point did I ever consider that you were having a go at me,,,, more that you are concerned for me, which I greatly appreciate :-)... I've been reading the 'market wizards' this weekend, very kindly suggested by Rb,,, great, great book so far,,,, in it there is a chapter called 'Trading Your Own Personality' which I think sums up where we both are now with AVCT :-) ,,, but, also there is a chapter 'The Need for an Edge' which clearly states that none of us should be trading/investing unless we know what that edge is.... that's a tricky one for me to identify so far :-) LOL.... great to hear about your stargazing exploits,, that truly does bring things into perspective for me,, how truly insignificant out little lives are in the scheme of things :-),,,, wishing you a very pleasant evening, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
09/5/2020 17:43 | many thanx jbe,,, there was a lot of luck in it.... :-),,,, I suppose the point I'm making to myself as much as anything is that the uncertainty in AAZ has influenced the way I have played AVCT,,,, no doubt that's not the way to play this game!!!! but, not to worry, Monday is another day and the game goes on :-) LOL Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
09/5/2020 17:40 | Good evening all. Wan,I was not having a go at you for selling AVCT at all,far from that. I know you bought AVCT twice. You bought them on a spike, that did not help either. If you recall, I did say to you to get rid of half. It is the stress of watching your investment go down. It plays on our minds. The switched on guys like Bumpa,RB,MF,etc all took profits and sold out. I could have done the same too but I did not. I have my reasons for holding on and doing a top up. I was close to 300% up on my previous investment so I bought more. I have never managed to buy a share right at the bottom and sell at the very top. We are all different in our investments. Perhaps you did the right thing and me the wrong! Only time will answer this. I hope you understand what I am saying ? You are not a novice investor now. I have not gone fishing for a while. I have been spending time at my mates place,he has a telescope and is interested in astronomy same as me. He used to teach chemistry. We both live on our own and he is good company. We also exchange books. Have a good weekend all. ATB. | ![]() callmebwana
09/5/2020 17:12 | Wan, well done with your AVCT gains, yes it may well go a lot higher, but its not a profit until you sell. A big profit and a free ride is a good place to be, if it doesnt deliver there is no way out for a sizeable position. | ![]() jbe81

09/5/2020 16:03 | Wan Take a look at the wedge forming on BTC since 2014. As per Raoul Pal's Twitter feed it looks ready for a violent move. | ![]() brasso3
09/5/2020 14:54 | On closer inspection they impressed me Wan. When almost 50% of a DDDD is owned by the following its almost bombproof. There is only 109m shares and if they pull off their phase ii cv19 trial and whatever follow-ups are required then no shortage of funds for their other trials such as their cancer treatments which i think is what sponsored the massive investments from the following. That means no further share dilution. They have over 900 patents been given the go ahead, and are currently actively following up on over 400 of them. 17 Mar 2020 Norwood, David Robert Chairman of the Board 8,557,061 18 Feb 2020 Peyton, Duncan Joseph CEO 7,788,407 18 Feb 2020 Stevenson, Alexander Executive Director 7,746,468 18 Feb 2020 RICHARD GRIFFITHS AND CONTROLLED UNDERTAKINGS 14,842,370 18 Feb 2020 MERCK & CO INC Affiliated Company 7,660,000 | ![]() swallowsflysouth
09/5/2020 14:29 | I've also just had a listen to the AVCT webinar this morning. Feels like there is huge potential to be unearthed. Very impressive. | ![]() king suarez
09/5/2020 13:42 | AAZ - upon reflection, right now, part of my timidness in relation to taking on more risk,,, is being,,,, rightly or wrongly,,, most probably wrongly,,,, influenced by my substantial holding (% wise) in AAZ,,,, in many ways I'm in too deep there and recent share price movements when gold is at ATH's is disturbing to me,,,, I understand the reason for this, I think,,,, LOM, AZERGOV/PSA, expansion plans etc etc,,,, all uncertainties which the market hates,,,, but, a bad result there would be very damaging to my progress in this game..... to me it's all got a bit too binary for my liking,,,, operationally they are great,,,, but, the future needs to be outlined and soon for confidence in the share price to return, as I see it..... still, not long to wait to hear more,,,, I hope,,,, GLA Holders, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
09/5/2020 13:34 | sfs, I too am very confident in regard to 4D,,, hopefully not over confident,,, but it seems like a no brainier LTH to me,,,, LOL Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
09/5/2020 13:31 | AVCT - many thanx cmb, I have listened to the presentation again today and I fully see why you've bought again and yes, maybe I've lightened up too early,,, but, my gains are in the bank so that's no bad thing.... please try to see it from my viewpoint, I am still a novice at this compared to you & others and I'm going to get a little dizzy when I see big gains at this stage of my development,,, it will take me time to get more comfortable leaving them on the table for even bigger potential gains and so on,,,, I have to work at that :-),,, as always I am very appreciative of your and others support in my development..... hope the fishing has improved for you :-) Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi |
