11/5/2020 16:25 | Not involved in ALTN but can you not trade inside the spread out of interest? | riggerbeautz
11/5/2020 16:20 | Not often you see a CEO buying over £20m worth of stock. SLE "San Leon, the independent oil and gas production, development and exploration company focussed on Nigeria, announces that it has been notified that Oisin Fanning, Chief Executive, has purchased a total of 98,000,000 ordinary shares at a price of 21.0 pence per share on 07 May 2020." | someuwin
11/5/2020 15:44 | We all know there has always been a messing with trades and dropping of price for a couple of seconds when in those few seconds someone picks up a real bargain. It has also worked the other way to let someone out. The messing about with trades being cancelled as been going on a few weeks now. We have to just grin and bare it,because corruption is just part of the finance industry now. | gold finger 1
11/5/2020 15:03 | 26,678 shares were shown as a Sell at 13.39pm. That same no of shares were not shown as a Buy at 13.38pm, but delayed by one hour , ie not declared till 2.38pm. This is clearly misleading, giving a false picture of the time of the trades and quite possibly giving some an advantage over others. The fact that it is a rollover in all probability does not affect my point. | klosters65
11/5/2020 14:57 | Also how did the Scotland project that almost settled turn into Portugal? Espero que tudo corra bem. | stevea171
11/5/2020 14:02 | If you think the spread on AAZ is bad, you should see the size of spread on ALTN. Huge! Buy and hold kind of investment. | goodgrief
11/5/2020 13:55 | Cinoib I think you have talked so much about this farm on the AAZ BB you at least owe us a picture! :) | brasso3
11/5/2020 13:40 | fozzie, what about all those poor sods under 60 that are also dying, look at the W.H.O. website as they tell you roughly age groups and deaths, even some deaths in the 20's bracket. Yes I have retired here, if you can call it that as I have 10 acre to play with to keeep me fit and out of mischief. Inland in the mountains, the view from my kitchen window is to dye for as is jaw droppping. I bought more this a.m. at 126 so pleased to see it going north when I got back up the 1 in3 from town. | cinoib
11/5/2020 13:32 | ALTN, could be a nice cup and handle now formed, GLA Holders Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
11/5/2020 13:21 | Mediocre? Interesting choice of word for what is a relatively small company. | skeptic1
11/5/2020 12:50 | I think the news have been factored in based upon the earlier update. Gold production is mediocre. | maxplus2
11/5/2020 12:42 | agreed KS on ALTN (1.25p) ... I was wobbling on the financial report last week, however in the same report they referred to the share price as being an an "inflection point" which caught my eye as very unusual for them to quote the same. So IMHO today's totally unexpected move to begin quarterly production reports and show big improvements to same Qtr19 is a huge statement of intent. Even if we are comparing very modest numbers. Its clear as another poster said, they released 2 separate reports to indicate 2019 is history and 2020 is the turnaround point. Someone referred to ALTN as being very similar to AAZ in it's early days, so with a mkt cap of just £26m and a proven resource of 3.4m ounces, and a target of 100k a year for 9 years, this could turn out to be the optimium time to take your position for the next few years. Resource with further exploration planned is expected to move beyond 5m ounces. however I believe they have a London listing with a trade sale in mind at some stage. Once they are able to show consistently growing Quarterly production reports, the buyers will circle and I doubt the board who own I believe around 70% of stock, will sell for less than £200m. That's a 10 bag from here and with gold likely to strengthen further for the foreseeable future, could even be conservative. Lots of ifs and buts, but I'm sure same applied to AAZ a few years back. 11/5/2020 12:41 | Ciniob, it was an official NHS stat that is why it piqued my interest. Debate is raging here about this issue. The official statistics from the NHS do show that if you are fit and healthy and under 60 the chances of you dying from C19 are almost zero. On that basis you do have to ask what on earth we are all doing on lockdown. Portugal is my favourite place and i would love to be able to retire there in the next few years. Whereabouts exactly are you? Apols off topic. | fozzie
11/5/2020 12:31 | not too long to go now before new highs in the price, i would tentatively suggest | mattjos
11/5/2020 12:16 | My guess is weds for our results Bill will want to share good news in his presentation | gutterhead
11/5/2020 12:06 | I've went long a spread bet at 120p- £15 per point | ilostthelot
11/5/2020 12:04 | On the Nex market also. | klosters65
11/5/2020 12:03 | That inverse head and shoulders chart is still in play. A breakout over the neckline at 130p should see a target price of 190p. Results coming at the right time to be the catalyst for the chart. | ilostthelot
11/5/2020 11:59 | Feels like we have a buyer mopping up today | mad foetus
11/5/2020 11:30 | I'm holding off the DIY approach for now & have adopted the Worzel Gummidge style … much longer and I'll have a ponytail ! | mattjos

11/5/2020 11:22 | I have just been for my first haircut it 3 months! It was quite a liberating experience and left a 5 Euro tip. | brasso3
11/5/2020 11:22 | fozzie, I wouldn't take a fat lot of notice of stats, as just about every government is fixing them to suit themselves. Use your eyes to look around you not at some figures that some upstart has beeen told to produce to keep people happy. If people around the world, governments in particular, don't wake up then a afraid there will be a great deal less of us this time next year when the real figures start to emerge. I'm in that over 60 group but am a very fit man and keep away from others as much as humanly possible. It helps living in the mountains as the virus thrives in the city, lots of lovely bodies for it to jump on. I would say normality is some way down the line yet, but will get there much quicker if the masses stop being greedy and realise what is at stake here,,, thier lives.... | cinoib
