KK this one is far better because of the interviewer I.m.o if you like the other, you will definitely like this one!

He’s a good listen, I’ve just skim listened about 30 mins of an hour and 20 sat in the tub, but picking out his points on emerging markets and company debt were so valid; his take on the situation with C.V at the end is really prescient.

Yeah, strange that. Fund managers use screens because there are hundreds of shares out there - and so do a lot of PI's. They also look for forecasts from analysts/company broker(s)- they don't have time to do that - they expect the company/its advisors to do that for them. Damned inconsiderate.

HUM - M Cap £88m - Forecasts for 2019 and 2020 - 3 brokers following
TSG - M cap £64m - Forecasts for 2019 and 2020 - 1 broker following
SHG - M Cap £87m - Forecasts for 2020 and 2021 - 2 brokers following

AAZ - M Cap £136m - No forecasts - No brokers following

Strange we don't have any II on our share register.

https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/data/mortalityHmmm. China figures do look suspiciously low unless, the virus has mutuated into something altogether more deadly as soon as it left the Chinese borders

Further to my post of the other day regards the fact Cushing was not full and had 7 weeks at 5mbpw to fill, well today I learnt why that makes no difference. Speaking to an oil trader friend he told me the spare tankage is reserved the small number of traders who reserved the tankage were basically able to name their price for the oil to fill them and that is what they did and will probably continue to do so.

gold finger 1, we all know it's just plain cheap and is being ignored by the herd. One can only speculate as to why, but I suspect that various computer based 'screens' are used, and thus those nervous persons employed by fund managers will swiftly pass by. Results and divi news to come before too long, and who knows even news on one or two of those 32 prospects? A divi and the prospect of a longer mine life might draw some interest, but waiting for an certainty is going to cost you more than the current price.

last year we had a flurry of exploration updates just after the FY results came out on Thursday 16th May.

Three weeks to wait with two of those in Lockdown for those in the UK. Now inside the T20 window.

Pretty sure the FY figures are going to blow the doors off here

You would think looking at the share price that AAZ were one of the companies that have had their mines closed because of the virus.
There seems to be no sense in the pricing of the share price here.
I can't wait for the results next month to see how the market react to them.

Yes this virus has been blown up out of all proportion.
This is all about trying to hide the truth that the usual suspects are the clueless fools we know they are.
But we all know they will come out of this mess better of and smelling of roses.

I'd say we are much more likely not to see any announcements before mid-May. AAZ are in close period and companies have a tendency not to bring anything out until results are announced. Of course, it's not a hard and fast rule. See:

With gold over 1700 and markets a little less edgy (doubt that will be permanent) if the board did have news tomorrow would be a good time to drop it.

Many thanks for all the excellent posts recently on this board, although there seems to be precious little of late to discuss, in the absence of the main news that we are expecting from our company.

In the midst of all the conjecture, I would recommend to everyone, that they watch the latest podcasts, presentations etc of the "prophets of/ profit from Doom" that some of the posters here have referred to ie: Mike Maloney, Jim Rickards, Peter Schiff etc. I know that they talk their own book and have vested interests, but they have been giving stark warnings for many years and it is all coming true.

Rb, Trump has ordered his warships to destroy Iranian gun boats if they cause problems,,, so I hear shorts covering has pushed up crude.... no idea if that makes any sense or helps you at all,,,, but there you go :-) LOL Cheers Wab :-)

Not a gamble really Rb - it’s option money down here. If it doesn’t recover in time, then the problems we’ll be facing will dwarf a bet on the black stuff !
