17/4/2020 18:19 | I need to research MWG myself but the last RNS from MWG mentions covid-19 plus worth following their new chairman on twitter who's been mentioning it lately | ![]() homebrewruss
17/4/2020 18:15 | Modern water have a test which tests water sulfate reducing bacteria. Can this test be modefied to test for cv19 is i suspect the likely reason for share price increase. hxxps://www.modernwa SRB stands for Sulfate Reducing Bacteria. SRB is one of many common soil bacteria species that populate our world and perform a valuable ecological role in the environment. ... 17/4/2020 18:02 | Their Head office phone is working but to late or office not attended i guess, the other number i tried was their Cambridge one. The following may be a clue to what it is about with moder water. They supple clean water supplies which some countries may be desperately in need of as cv19 looks like it can be carried in untreated water ? hxxps://www.hpsc.ie/ | ![]() swallowsflysouth

17/4/2020 17:24 | I think we can all agree the long term charts support that argument :-),,, but, recently there has most definitely been an uptick,,, question is why??? what's changed, what have they got that investors have recognised,,, please, all, research it over the weekend and lets pool our findings,,, could be very profitable for us all,,, as AVCT has been so far :-) thanx all, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
17/4/2020 17:19 | MWG was also on my watchlist years ago, kept doing deals but nothing ever seem to go any further. As Droyden said always jam tomorrow. | ![]() swallowsflysouth

17/4/2020 16:53 | Good pt about LG ores GF. I re-read what i posted above and have amended 4. I'd written that the LG ore be stockpiled....but nonsense as it will be far better to Heap Leach than have it sitting there. As for the HG, well HL it [as plant maxed out] or could stockpile some as periodic feed into plant allowing for more flexibility of developments [temporary production hiatus] - mainly extensions to Gadir/main-pit. | ![]() 2sporrans
17/4/2020 16:32 | what a week!!! again!!! wishing you all a happy healthy weekend & many thanx to you all for all your posts this week,,, very much appreciated by me and a lot of others I am sure..... Cheers Wan :-) :-) :-) | wanobi

17/4/2020 16:24 | Its never been a better time to work their way through any low grade ore. Everyone hits the lower grade at some time, not just aaz. Its not as if we are going to leave it in the ground because their is something better down the road. I am sure the management have things in order. Also 2019 results will be all time high profits. Its also looking odds on that 2020 will also beat 2019 profits. So not bad for any company. I always like steady rises than peaks. A nice steady profit increase followed by a steady divi rise. If you can still increase or keep the divi steady while you are working your way through low grade ore what more could you ask for. | ![]() gold finger 1
17/4/2020 16:17 | Hi Wan and Droyden - to be honest I don't fully understand it - but their most recent RNS states that sales have exploded due to covid somehow. With such a small market cap any sustained improvement in sales could have a big impact on the share price. FRP is a safer bet but I like micro caps when they could explode into action. Correction - Actually having read the RNS more carefully the relation to CV19 seems to be more tenuous - any way their sales have shot up it seems.. just a punt | ![]() mikro1

17/4/2020 16:07 | AAZ are so open / straight forward about keeping us shareholders informed. Frustratingly, something is holding the Board from keeping us informed of the strategy going forward. With something well in excess of £25m in the Bank - surely we are entitled to provisional plans - all be it if necessary with a caveat. | ![]() klosters65
17/4/2020 16:05 | Hi Jeanesy. I hold FRP. My main holdings are ALTN and AVCT with smaller holdings in LOOP (as beneficiaries of home work) and FRP advisory (counter cyclical). Today I started a position (a real punt) in MWG as a possible microcap Covid based recovery play. | ![]() mikro1
17/4/2020 15:52 | CannonF Yes, the plant is pretty much maxed out. However, a few thoughts: 1. Production has been declining slowly as grades have declined and given the reasons why, one must consider this trend is likely to continue in absence of new, lower cost [not necessarily higher grade, though obviously desirable] ores being brought into production. 2. Ugur, which proved transformational over late 2017 and 2018, will soon be pretty much exhausted wrt existing development and peripheral drilling has so far revealed mostly copper/silver but only 1 enticing extension bearing gold which runs deeper than the prospective low pt of existing pit. What will replace Ugur and over what development timeframe? 3. Clearly SW and team see Avshancli-Gilar as front runner substitutes for Ugur, along with HG U/G extension at Gosha. This is where the more intensive drilling [other than main pit and Gadir extensions] has been focused and is set to continue. AG is very close to the existing plant, not much further than adjacent Ugur. 4. If aAZ plump for development of A-G and bring it on, say H2 2021, does this pose a problem? All that can be readily financed out of cash, leaving plenty in kitty. Much better, there is the option of ko production at modest pace, via Heap Leaching [very low [cyanide] cost, though maybe need that extra tailings dam capacity now coming on stream] Option of stockpiling HG ore and feeding into plant during dips from other sources. HL production is fine, especially at these [unmissable!!] POGs and is after all how AAZ began production, very profitably. [Admittedly SART plant was also in operation from about a year into production.] | ![]() 2sporrans

17/4/2020 14:58 | Does anyone here have shares in FRP ? the company that is providing restructuring, corporate finance, debt advisory, forensic accounting and pensions services. It is one of the UK’s largest specialists in the area of corporate restructuring. I would imagine they are going to be pretty busy in the now and near future if the economy is in the bad state we all believe it to be in.I have decided to buy a few to diversify my heavily weighted portfolio of AAZ shares ! | ![]() jeanesy
17/4/2020 14:42 | It was the Democrats who abandoned the Glass-Seagall act, which has directly led to this mess of socialising the losses when the derivatives blow up, but trousering the profits on the way up. This going to be way worse than 2008/09, I don't see how they are going to contain inflation, Trump is going to get the cheap dollar he wanted, and quite likely the Chinese gold backed petro Yuan is going to win the great game. | ![]() lefrene
