It's pretty tortuous for us super Leeds fans. Of course, with the Liverpool fans on letting the season stand as it is. I'll be polite; sorry MANU fans :-)

Gah....can't help it....if you combine the wins from Chelsea and United this season you'd be...still behind us! :-o

This delay is torture for Liverpool fans.

(apologies to all AAZ non-football fans)

The season should be cancelled null and void. As a Chelsea Fan, that sounds very fair 😂
King S, where have you been? Long time no read

OK I buy prefs and bonds as well as normal shares and there is a nice opportunity appeared on BBYB as Skyship succulently puts it on that board see below.I dived in and added to my current holding as have still got cash on the sidelines and this is a nice short term holding zone. If they don't redeem the new rate is higher and they have a load of cash in the bank so dont see them doing that. There is a stamp payable. The total return is 100p + the half year divi, which is 1/2 of 10.75%

Another good opportunity today.

Someone in need of cash today dumped 100k @ 98p. This when they redeem at effectively 105.375p in just 77days time - 01/07/2020.

Yes, BUY BBYB in a tax-free wrapper @ 100.6p (101.14p inc costs) and you make 4.18% in 2.5months, ie a GRY of 21%pa.

I've just added to my position; whilst thanking the seller & the MM for their generosity!

As a Utd fan I can assure it'll never be known as the league you won if they don't find a way to finish it! :)

I thought that was a really positive update by S P Angel especially....."Strong FCF generation and balance sheet bodes well for the sustainability of dividend payments as well as a continuing investment in the exploration programme."

I’ve been concerned from the outset, enforced by first hand experience, that they really are struggling to understand exactly what we’re dealing with here.

polaris and King Suarez

Thanks for putting some figures down on paper and I know where you are both coming from.
.
From a Capex and tax perspective(presuming similar Q1 tax payment), being another accounting professional I agree and prefer the KS view.....Where the summary conclusion that "Enterprise value for AAZ is a little over current 3 x annual free cash flow" really shows that AAZ has a very lowly valuation with considerable room for upsides IMHO.....

KS - you registered in 2011... ;-)

Don't mention the league. We wait all this time and some bloody virus turns up, i don't mean United fans, to spoil it. Please just let some games be played in the summer to seal it, otherwise it'll always be known as the League we won but didn't actually win to those same United fans...

In Klopp we trust. YNWA.

All this is/will be easier to analyse with a full set of results :)

How'd you guess I am a Liverpool fan rather than Barcelona? ;) I guess it would be King Messi otherwise.. he was indeed a fantastic player. I'm sure if Klopp had him we'd have won the league by now - oh wait....

Weren't there some Trumpian assertions on the other thread that covid was just like the flu? I guess with a god-complex you see reality through a different coloured lens!

Coronavirus destroys lungs. But doctors are finding its damage in kidneys, hearts and elsewhere.

Yes Bumpa, fair play, I think I’ve been in and out too much like a trader by my standards, I’m getting dizzy with trades and more so too many watchlists.

My ISA and SIPP cash piles are on the whole growing but I’m feeling really uncomfortable with too many £‘S and Canadian$’s. AAZ will no doubt add a fair chunk to that in a couple of months. Think I need a period of reality checking next few days.
