16/4/2020 13:28 | That would launch the share price through the 140-150p range we had gotten used to some little time back... | goodgrief
16/4/2020 13:22 | What a statement it would be to increase the dividend in the current climate. | ![]() brasso3
16/4/2020 13:22 | Sparky ....it's mid may for the results and dividend so we will know by that time where we all are with Covid, the refiners ,situation in Az, our exploration and plans and of course the gold price. I expect an increase in the final dividend from 4c to 4.5c showing a reasonable progressive increase..... leaving plenty of funds for expansion.....IMHO Edit....very much similar to bozzy post ....where we both posted at the same time | ![]() goldrush
16/4/2020 13:21 | Don't forget, they've stated they'll prioritize paying a 'progressive' dividend over sticking rigidly to 25% FCF. So expect at least the same as last year. Most likely a small increase, due to improved results, higher gold price, stronger balance sheet. | ![]() bozzy_s
16/4/2020 13:19 | All AVCT holders from reading other thread, it looks like ceo will be on sky news at 1330. Hopefully does a better job explaining things then he did the other day on ITV or was it BBC. | ![]() kickingking

16/4/2020 13:05 | US jobless claims should be out in the next hour. Clearly nobody is expecting anything positive. Will the US market co up like last week? | ![]() brasso3
16/4/2020 13:05 | Sparkey-two, I expect the management to do exactly what they promised to do, ie 25% of free cash flow. These managers always deliver on what they say, now is not the time to change that excellent habit, when all around are reneging on their divi promises. A reputation is a hard and grudging thing to build, and once lost it's gone and all trust with it. | ![]() lefrene
16/4/2020 13:04 | spot back to 1737 while the market waits for US Jobless Claims. Est 5.1m | ![]() mattjos
16/4/2020 12:52 | Will be interesting to see the approach with the dividend. Clearly the company can afford to pay it but what’s the risk of either the company deciding to be prudent and not pay it in case of the need for a mine shut down or they decide the optics are not right to pay it at a time of people losing jobs etc. I think the risk is low of either given we seem to be reaching the peak around the world and we have another month before they announce but I would suggest it will limit the upside of the dividend. At best I expect it to match last year’s even though on paper they could pay more... | ![]() sparkey_two
16/4/2020 12:52 | SFS Beans and shotgun pellets cant go wrong lol Talking of which armed protestors in Michigan demanding the lock down ends they are wanting to go shopping and have haircuts apparently. What a country, Michigan voted for Trump you wont be surprised to hear. 'Thousands of protesters in cars and on foot have flouted Michigan’s stay-at-home orders to demand the state reopened. ‘It’s time for our state to be opened up’ said one protester in her car. ‘We’re tired of not being able to buy the things that we need, go to the hairdressers. It’s time to open up’.' | ![]() pogue

16/4/2020 12:05 | Brasso, Pogue, if we are going to have depression/recession then in the interests of investment maybe you should test out homemade beer and wine kits ? Possibly Young's who claim to be a UK/world leader in such products - YNGA. She said 'tongue in cheek' but maybe not ? lol | ![]() swallowsflysouth
