I sold my Rre at 1800p. Good co, chucking of loads of cash but the market has never worked out how to value it properly.

I’m not sure of the attraction in owning an oiler in the current mkt. I don’t hold any, but if I did I would go for Jse.

I still have a little RRE and JSE...wish I had sold them all! With RRE they have loads of cash - near twice the market cap I think - but I guess there is uncertainty about decommissioning costs and pension liabilities

Brasso, thanks. Likewise it's my only o&g share for the same reasons.

I'm wondering if the price might come under more pressure with a likely further dip in oil over the next month's and also mulling the cashflow/position over the course of this year.
I assume cash generation from oil sales largely unaffected in q1 but q2 and q3 affected maybe with a upswing in oil prices in late q4 plus hopefully gas sales from mid Q3 so overall maybe just 1 bad quarter (comparing the year as a whole to last year).

Might post some more musings on the TXP thread once I've pondered it a bit more.

Its the only O & G share I have now. I am sticking with it based on it becoming a gas exploration play. If they had not of raised 9m GBP a few months back I would be out.

Wan, i think it was you asking about other companies invovled with cv19, while wandering about fairly aimless i came across this little company involved with cv19 which might be of interest to you, looks overbought to me but then i tend towards the negative. - SNG Synairgen.

Am still re-reading this morning's RNS .. for at least the 10th time now.2015 & we were over $50m in the hole! The debt was 7x bigger than the market cap of the whole company & most commentators gave to this a wide swerve and claimed long list of 'red flags'.Just think about that for a while. Now we've paid back all that capital and the interest thereon, we've got a whole new flotation plant & now we have over $20m CASH in the bank and ZERO DEBT.Now the market cap is about 7x bigger than the cash in the bank. All .. this is an extraordinary performance from all concerned. In whatever format this year's AGM might take place, the very first thing that all shareholders must surely drop is to give the BOD & all the team at AAZ a huge round of applause & Thank You.Rarely do you witness such performance

I am not disagreeing with you the prices are going lower they have been doing so since the pointless deal was struck. I was suggesting a way the real lows could be missed not saying they will be though. I am very bearish on oil for months yet.
