19194oz for Jan - Apr. better than I expected.

Not a great month and they need to make something big happen in May - Sept if they are to make the 73,000oz FY target.

They need to average 6750oz per month now for the rest of the year.

My calculation gives production of over 5,800 oz plus floatation production.

For the first four months gold dore production is reported to be 19,200.

First quarter dore production was 13,400. Therefore, in april they produced 5,800 oz.

They tried to smash gold down yesterday in the paper market with a huge sell ... Less that 24 hours later and gold now challenging that same level.Paper is losing control to physical & now Soros has gone in big on gold.How much more evidence to folk need to see the direction of gold this year?The newest hint of the Fed tightening again has the markets in a mess. They're only trying to buy themselves some room ahead of the next round of stimulus.I have no idea why the USA markets keep defying the underlying data at this stage. The world seems to be inching closer to the precipice, yet the central banks keep trying to suggest all is well. They seem to be treating everyone as the frog in the slowly warming saucepan of water

Same here. I am expecting 5200 - 5500oz for April excluding Flotation plant production.

Am not expecting any pick up in production until May's figures come out in June.Will take time for the heaps to warm up.We've had a good run & MM's need to rebalance .. Should be easy for them to gather some in during the lull

Same thing happen most months with AAZ.

They will be released tomorrow I am sure.

Expansion is coming zhockey.
A big expansion of the flotation won't happen this year but a few leading components of an expansion to the plant are in the pipeline for this year I'm sure.
Just one of which is the new SAG mill of course. BTW, whoever was asking re price of the SAG mill, I got a vague "errmm, 2 million I think" from Bill as an estimate the other day, but he seemed vague!

Gold looks like it is just about to confirm this March to May Cup & Handle pattern.
If that Cup & Handle is also a penant breakout half way up the flag post then, $1,465+ looks nailed on to my eyes.
