Wanobi, I managed to do a top again @ 0.8995 GBP.
I think the JORC can land at any day this week. Not worth arguing a few pounds this way or that way IMO.

PP you must be glad to have bailed out of MTL ?

BREAKING DOWN Falling Knife
The term falling knife suggests that buying into a market with a lot of downward momentum can be extremely dangerous - just like trying to catch an actual falling knife. As a result, the general consensus among traders is: Don't try to catch a falling knife.

Instead of trying to "catch the falling knife," traders should look for confirmation of a trend reversal using other technical indicators and chart patterns. An example of a confirmation could be as simple as waiting for several days of upward momentum or as complex as looking at the relative strength index (RSI) for signs of a stronger uptrend before buying into the new trend.

you are right Klosters of course, but not dithering, I'd say playing around to see what can and cannot be achieved... all part of the learning process, cheers Wan :-)

also, if there is one thing that life has taught me above all others,,,,, there's always another opportunity around the corner, so miss one, catch the next one :-)

I doubt very much that the MM's will let you pick up 50,000 at 89p. You may get your order filled or partially filled at 90p. ( you could have picked up 10,000 in the auction). You have been dithering around all day. We are reasonably confident that good news is coming imminently and if it comes tomorrow morning, why miss out for the sake of 1p ?

wait until the dust settles...PW's generally come in 3's too...so at least get the New Year trading update around Feb or so..have a look on the site to see how much is discounted and at what levels. 2% margin is nothing if they have to reduce by 5%+ to shift stock
Are the tweenies also now realising that buying one top at £50 of good quality is better value than 5x tenner tops that only last a few washes?

Technically it does look appealing at £25 but I'd be very wary of further falls. A stock whcih has fallen 50% can easily do another 50%. Much harder to double, and then double again

SB - re ASC - reminds me of the 'one that could have been' as I bought 100k of them at 3p in march 2003 and sold them for 10p later that year! :(

Matt a very good explanation to Wanabi.

Wan,have you not noticed the price has been bouncing around the 90P area for a while. A big order being filled IMO. I feel your order may get filled just have some patience.
My top up was @ 0.872 GBP today .

I think we have established that there are buyers below 90p but not above it quite yet. Shaking doesn't seem to be generating sales so we stand at an impasse. News tomorrow would be nice!

interestingly priced order that one Wan...you never know but imo one or two more 5k trades at 90p will see the offer & share price rise

Be patient...MM's can be - play them at their own game and lets see if thee is a willing seller to fulfill your order
