Regarding the future of copper prices, Escondida is now more than halfway through its useful life (as far as current technology goes), so the long-term outlook for smaller mines such as Parys is good. Still not holding my breath though …

Yep shows that funding alternatives possible. Will UK follow the US moves this week on critical minerals? The US Department of Energy (DoE) officially added copper to its list of critical raw materials earlier this week in an historic move that reflects the growing importance of energy transition technologies.https://www.mining-technology.com/news/us-government-adds-copper-to-critical-materials-list/

A good refresh from earlier this year. Many essential elements are already in place for Parys..but pulling it all together after years of inactivity takes time but needs to be done properly and with maximum inferred resource available into the FS. Putting all this in place costs...but the historic NPV is $120M and will most likely rise considerably if the Northern Zone delvers drill result as anticipated.https://www.mining-journal.com/resourcestocks-company-profiles/resourcestocks/1448372/anglesey-makes-up-for-lost-time-at-parys-mountain

Parys is ideal for a small to medium mining operation, nothing bigger is required.

Once the dig are sorted, it will have to go out by road which is not a big problem.

Brendons have a rail facility on the outskirts of Llandudno to transfer onto trains which seems a more practical solution.
There is capacity both in the train timetable and with Brendon’s to handle additional haulage with a moderate investment.

Alternatively, Parys is close to Holyhead port which is mainly a vehicle transport dock but does have the potential to carry aggregate with some investment.
Alternatively, it may be more prudent to send via train to Liverpool docks.

It’s all possible, it needs a good long term investor with capital and Welsh govt good will.
The govt good will is there, the best solution is for AYM to sell the site to an investor who can move it forward.

The longer AYM hold on and dilute investors, the good will will evaporate, AYM are a laughing stock, no progress in 20 years.

Have some patience, they’ve only be conducting present studies for 16 years.

What you should be asking is how many more shares need to be issued.

Very interesting comment i reaffirm my belief that a mid to large cap steps up to fund development as a farm in or full acquisition with a royalty to AYM that far better reflects the NPV of the project once it is spade ready with a feasibility study in place. I think the value to industry of Parys alone will dwarf the current market value of the company. Here's hoping.

Calmtrader, yesterday's 1,000,000 trade is showing on my screen as a sell. Mid-price was 1.55p, but the trade went through at 1.51p. Total buys for the whole day yesterday £2.04. Unless you have some info that I don't .....

Spacedust, I think you are maybe being too pessimistic about the company - someone bought £2.04 worth of AYM today (128 shares). As long as you have some loose change in your pocket, you don't even need to go to the ATM to pick up some AYM. :o)

Sadly indeed the market does not as yet recognise the value, however the market can be slow on the uptake and marvellously inefficient in small cos and miners in particular. I expect the best monetisation outcome will be through industry acquisition once a full FS is completed. The drill programme and Muon tomography are looking to expand existing resources and firm up new ones not currently in the Parys Mountain resource estimate. So whatever is firmed up and results in increased confidence will be on top of the already strong economics of the existing indicated resource that has been secured by analysed core samples I understand from the statement. So figure can only boost inferred and indicated, if the Muon tests save time and money of demonstrating the true potential size of the perspective then all the better."The six-hole programme, for approximately 3,725m of diamond core drilling, has been designed to increase the resource confidence category for the upper levels of the NCZ, extend the high-grade Garth Daniel resource estimate and test the Central Zone, which is not currently in the Parys Mountain resource estimate. The six proposed holes could potentially provide numerous pierce points across the NCZ, the Garth Daniel Zone and the Central Zone, based on current interpretations. Following rig mobilisation in September, the Company expects the programme to be completed over approximately six months. "
