Whilst the shares have gone ex-div the dividend isn't due to be paid until 14th June.

Maex are on the bid on the RSP for up to a million shares at 0.231p a share at the moment, after that you have:

SCAP 1,050,000 @ 0.2275
WINS 3,000,000 @ 0.225
SING 2,500,000 @ 0.216
PEEL2 500,000 @ 0.211


There's plenty of volume being bid for.

Like many on here i am over the moon with my 1.8p dividend but also gutted i only have a third of my original holding as the payment could have been life changing :-( next steps here though might be in totally new direction and markets.

Like a few on here though am now heavily buying KEFI for some very near term bagging potential...i can see over 4p there on the Tula Kapi final signing which from current 0.65p will be a great return for a few weeks investing.That will start flying early next week for sure.

Yep FX Analyst,

I was annoyed that I missed out on the primary bid offer...as was off-line at the time etc. I even complained to my broker......but was pleased to top up significantly for under 0.7p inc. fees.

But back to AMC....which is not a dead duck by any means......I mean the bottom line is...if I had £4m or £5m to spend, I'm pretty sure I could get AMC a project and a market cap to £10m or more in short order.

I don't know why we expect the BOD to do any less.....but past performance certainly predicts an element of caution....but increased my AMC holding by 250% or so today also.

and 98% or more shareholders did nothing today at all. 2% added,traded,sold...many had a few trades, some had many trades

sipptrader, sensible approach mate ! however i would point out that 99% of juniors are light years away from value curve whereas Kefi are just about to step on it :-) i can
see 4p there on the TK final sign off shortly and then building more momentum on their Saudi assets which are eye watering. Limited time to get the cheapies there IMO

Many AMC and former holders will be getting aboard there shortly IMVHO

Indeed KEFI represents no. 9/30+ in terms of what £GBP I have invested in shares...but IMO it is important to keep a balance in investing...and as such my KEFI investment is only 0.5% of my personal investment net. worth.

Now if you are more of a gambler.....sure perhaps put more of your dry powder at more of a risk....each to their own.....

I'm happy for my 0.5% to grow to say 4% in time and who knows......could be great....but only invest what you can afford to lose....and I've had plenty of total losses in my time....trouble is that no-one knows which will be and which won't be...not even the BODs!

BOD recommends a deal 2.5x less than what a cash distribution would be, but some senior staff move to a job with new Co = the reverse of turkeys voting for christmas?
I assume AMC will have oodles of tax losses which would have an intrinsic value...if they can be used with us being a BVI registered Co?

sipptrader, i have a hunch that KEFI is going to payout very soon and payout big too given recent developments :-) i have earmarked all my AMC profits that took 2 years to build and im adding an additional £40k that is going straight in to KEFI as it is a very rare opportunity, and perhaps the best currently on offer in the junior market.

AMC peed off alot of investors over a long time period but recent investors will be more than ok and a sigh of relief to get out of russia with a profit!

As for future of AMC,i have no idea what they are planning but i believe some new blood at board level is a must!

Still think we may have over £5m cash in bank.....surely it wouldn't do any harm for us shareholders/owners to be privy to the exact figure of cash in bank currently! and some sort of a conceptual/theoretical example of what the BOD would like to be doing with it.....just saying.....why always plowing through smoke with mirrors...lol

If I'm right the £5m returned to shareholders would be 0.04p.....about 2.5 x what AST are offering. If the BOD recommended acceptance of AST offer I think that would amount to Gross negligence IMO!

not very attractive, only amounts to 0.175p of paper per share by their own calculation, which is less than our cash. Obviously the market is expecting better things.

Problem ia that keeping it listed will generate costs. You don't know what when and if they will do anything with the remaining cash.

Yes indeed I've been in the TK project since the KAH days before KEFI and now got a large investment with KEFI...excited about all their projects!

.....and here

We are only distributing £25m of the £28m received so the extra £3m can be added to the £5.3m to make £8.3m less 12 months management/admin expenses...will leave (IMO)£5m cash shell against our market cap of £3.5m

I can easily see share price 0.45/0.55p and I intend to sell half when it reaches here.....which will give me a free carry on my remaining shareholding!

Just to clarify its already ex - div here so anyone buying today is not entitled to the 1.8p. Im actually quite chuffed because i was sitting on 800k of shares at a working average of just 0.16p after multiple trades / re-investments instead of taking the profits out the trades.Taken a long time but paid off big time :-)

Im now buying lots of Kefi Minerals,this will also give you a 3-4 bagger if you buy at current levels as its due for the final sign off on their TK project after a very long wait. Just raised a large amount of cash in difficult market @ 0.70p and check out some of the huge trades going through ( someone bought £200k worth this morning at 0.70p while ask was 0.64p ) can still buy under 0.65p but be quick. Any AMC,ers could triple money again on Kefi within next 6-8 weeks IMO

Market Cap/Cash in bank/ good value

IMO.......our current value by the market may be too low so there may be a buying opportunity to profit from this??

A year ago we had £5.3m in the bank....received £28m 3 months ago and will distribute £25m of that....less admin expenses for the last year of say?? £3m....would sill leave £5m odd in the bank.

If the BOD can't achieve value of at least £10m market cap odd in a new RTO.....then they need to move aside and let a new BOD in.....

....so I'm increasing my holding by more than three fold!
