I can currently buy at 1.72 and in the next 90...ish days the 1.8 special divi is paid (plus a free ride on the cash shell). So i get approx 4.65% (1.80-1.72/1.72) on my money ... seems a dead cert ... but that's what makes me nervous ... "too good to be true" ... anyone doubting the management here to deliver what they've said? ... the money is in the bank

Yes indeed Inaminute, As an investor and trader I say this.....I seem to profit these days by trying to minimise risk and not staying attached....I like to position for "free carries".......so here if all goes as planned I intend to sell 50% odd of my holding here post dividend received....hopefully will make a good bit of profit and also keep 50% odd for the new venture......if I like it I can always add....assuming we do it all within 6 months etc. etc....

as I said in my last post "What other share has a floor above the current SP???"

You can't lose buying in today or doing a topup buy trade. Today's investment is a fresh bet on today's block of money invested. sometimes it makes sense to compartmentalise (if that's a word?)

I have my overall average at 1.77p....I can only profit risk free...or else I have made a big mistake....lol

Being pumped everywhere by people who have no idea what this will rerate to after divi paid. Traders who will bale before those sucked in

Will that Shell company still be paying it's directors to source new opportunities ?

But it won't be. You will get your money as a special 1.8pca share divi and be left with the shares after . IE you get a shell company for free.

Rather have my cash sitting in a bank than invest it with this lot. Least it's at hand and not tied up in some bs

Would not put more into this dog as cannot trust management to deliver. You have no idea of cash burn or structure of any future deals so looking at cash in bank is almost meaningless. Have come out slightly down as it stands so anything else is a bonus but valuable lessons learned!

I certainly would have preferred the last deal.......but I've managed to make this one work too.....by averaging down to 1.77p now.....indeed someone buying in today will do a bit better.

I hope to make between 35% and 50% return in 3 months!

What a sad outcome for the company. The only winners are management and Russian oligarch crooks; years of toiling and the Russian have stolen it!

Remember we already had £3m odd in the bank before the extra £4m= £7m? so the NAV is maybe worth 2.5p but the share price could be 2.7p less 1.8p = 0.9p....just saying...

has to be a buy up to 1.9p......why's everyone not topping up....now the money is in our bank......no brainer!

From Monday's announcement -

"- The Buyer has transferred the total consideration for the Disposal of US$35 million to the Company and receipt of funds is expected imminently. We will update shareholders as soon as the consideration has been received by the Company"

In my view imminently does not mean 4 days.

Didn't they said they would confirm when the funds had been received, Surely its only an hour or so to send a same day transfer and it can sit with the lawyers?

The share price reflects the confidence holders have in the BOD to deliver anything.

There is nothing wrong with Russia taking over Moldova. There are quite a lot of pro Russian people living in Moldova, who believe their energy bills will become a lot cheaper if Russia took them over.

I am not sure if the benefits outweigh the negatives for Russia to take over Poland. That is where Russia may need to draw a line.
