The number of shares has not been doubled, only the maximum number permissable has.As stated, the 500m authority is to allow them to move quickly on mergers, acquisitions and investments and will expire at the AGM (usually held November time)..You know what strikes me as funny, I suspect that they already have something being worked through which may be announced before the AGM which all investors will be pleased with, therefore making all of our discussions a little pointless

I am just not convinced that there is a clear path for these shares. I agree the TEO is fully funded and can also understand possible financing issues close to Nov/Dec.

The share price at the moment is supporting the offload of the recent placing. PIS are always the last to benefit. Its a 50/50 gamble due to the lack of comms & distrust the BOD have shown to PIs. On the other hand, with Tom & Adam on board and with the results of the copper concentrate, there might be something tangible. I very much hope so....

CTIt is not that we cannot see the benefit of such an investment, if that is indeed what it is for, it is simply because we do not have a clear understanding of what the extra billion shares is actually for. Many of us have second guessed the meaning behind RNSs and off the cuff remarks for years, and supported the BOD/ made excuses for them as the number of shares rose and the price crashed. To double the number of shares with no more information is a leap of faith I do not think the BOD has earned.

Firstly, it states investments within the mining industry. Secondly, it is most likely that such an investment would be aligned closely with AMC..Shooting from the hip, but what about if it was something like taking a share in an operational smelting company within the vicinity. They could guarantee product to the smelter, get beneficial terms on the concentrates and by products and obtain an income immediately removing the need to ever come back to PIs again

I've seen it so many times with other companies. They take on acquisitions they believe will add value and end up doing the complete opposite, they just add more expense, more debt required, more placings, more shares, more dilution driving the share price down.

I honestly believe that is what will happen here.

Hiya Samd12,I would like to have seen more clear communications and then explanations for when things change. As we are not exploring now, that news flow has ceased Whilst the TEO statement was factually correct it could have been explained a lot better as to how AMC are adapting. The FAQs should have been updated as I'm sure people have been asking some questions that could be answered..However.... I have found RY to be pretty straight, he doesn't tend to big up the resource and drilling expectations, RNS what might be there, not find it, spike shareholders and then turn around and do it all again..Do they have their faults, of course, are we still here because of them, absolutely..Everybody used to say that they'd not want to play poker with RY, for me this is still the case.. Everybody looks to criticise the board, where is the kudos for them preserving cash by taking shares instead of salary. .I trust Robin, Tom, Paul Mckay & Adam to deliver me a substantial return

Do any of us really believe the extra shares are for acquisition, merger or investment?

AMC LTH's HAVE GUN TO THEIR HEADS AS EGM APPROACHES

Reject the BoD's resolution for ANOTHER 1 billion shares at the EGM and AMC collapses.

Accept and survival with Robin and all other Directors continuing to take from this lifestyle company.

Death Spiral or Administration are the only two options.

I don't see it as so clear cut. They haven't said back this or we go to the wall, this is supposed to be for an acquisition, merger or investment. We know so little about it it may actually accelerate a funding problem/ lead to further share price falls.

OVER $1 BILLION FUNDS REQUIRED TO EXPLOIT RESOURCE WITH FIRST REVENUES ONLY IN 9 YEARS

It would help if someone could oblige and provide clarity on at least one of the following simple questions?
___________________________________________________________________________________

How are AMC going to raise funds to build a 210 mile access road (a distance from London to Manchester)?

How are AMC going to raise funds to construct a mine and its infra-structure to begin to extract the resource before revenue generation can actually start?

How long after road construction and mine construction will it take for AMC to be cashflow positive?

How many AMC placings and associated dilutions WILL BE necessary to fund this venture when currently market capitalisation is a modest £11 million?
___________________________________________________________________________________

In addition to the aforementioned a big thanks to the AMC website who have highlighted the initial capital expenditure for a fully Toll Smelt operation and the Owner Operated furnace facility ranges from approximately $US 550 million to $US 700 million.

I direct readers to "PROJECTED CAPITAL COSTS"

Further detailed information on projected capital costs can be found in the RNS announcements “Operational Blueprint Defined for Kun-Manie” dated 29 June 2015 and “Access Road Update” dated 14 November 2016.

US$1 BILLION FUNDS NOW REQUIRED.

AMC shareholders could be in for over US$ 1 billion in costs before production can start in 9 years. Can that be right?

RECOMMEND ANY POTENTIAL NEW INVESTOR FOLLOW THE COMPANY LINKS BEFORE INVESTING IN AMC.

I don't see a choice. If we say no company folds, we all walk away with nothing. If we say yes, we dilute our holding, but the company keeps going. I agree that the comms have been terrible, but I'd rather have half of something than all of nothing.

The Facts are:
Comminications from the Company have been abhorrent.
If the vote doesn't go through we run out of money and go to the wall.
There is no evidence to suggest anything is going on in the background.
As per usual we will have to suck it up and hope the the best.
We all hope with all hope something good does come of this after 11 years + for many.

We've been consistently told the revised mining figures make a significant difference to the project, so why shouldn't it make a difference to the share price. If it wouldn't we've been wasting our time. The living document died as a result because the change was so great it changed everything, apparently, a bit like this copper.

CT, what are your thoughts on the continuing lack of communications from the company for a very long period of time? For me, its whether I can trust the BOD as they have not been transparent with us.

Really? You think if Adam has found a brilliant investment that will be great for AMC and its holders it should be announced to the world prior to us securing it, ffs

Inaminute, does having the 2018 results make a huge difference to your view of the resource and do you think it would have made any difference to the share price?.The recent copper concentrate RNS clearly states that the cut off grades and mine plan will all change because of it. I would rather the time and money went into the final version now instead of an interim one a few months ago that was bound to change when the copper concentrate commercial viability was proved. .Surely people here have realised that if AMC can somehow tie in with another party and be receiving income they don't have to come back to PIs for fund raises? That they have an actual income stream to raise debt from..This is what Adam was brought in to do

The BOD have given us what scale of resource? Knowing that might be a start, after all the PFS was always going to be a living document. A year ago we were told the later mining figures would make a significant impact, now the copper is quite encouraging. We all want action to increase the share price. Perhaps some investors have bought so many recently that they're blinkered. Not looking for an argument, just explaining why some of us do not take a RNS from these guys at face value any more, or necessarily just put a positive spin on what it MIGHT mean.

How can they not put forward a merger or investment, give us more information and then ask us to vote for the shares.
If they are worried about market volatility from any such announcement the shares could be suspended pending the vote like EUA.
There is nothing stopping them from providing more information except the fact that they have none and are just looking the shares to set up more dillutuve deals

We have the huge resource because of the board of directors. We've made it through the huge Nickel downturn because of the board of directors. The line has always been going it alone until somebody steps in, but we have never known when this will occur or how.We are now being told the importance of being able to move quickly with respect to mergers, acquisitions and investments and people are looking to tie up any competitive advantage by tying the board of directors hands.Perhaps some investors have been here so long they are simply scared of change.

I've been in this share so long that the original solution was a takeover. That's why the share price went to 40p+, because people thought that is what would happen. The BOD tried to call potential bidders' bluff by saying if you don't come we'll do it ourselves, unfortunately that hasn't worked and we've been showing our inexperience ever since as we've trundled down that path. The company has found a huge resource but has lost the trust of many shareholders by its radio silence, false hopes and basically treating us with disdain. It cannot hope to gain that back by putting out this RNS with no backup. What if they interpret the need to raise more funds to complete the TAO as an investment, or similarly the need to retain staff with more low-price options? LTH's are here for the resource, and we need to be better informed by the Board.

Looks to me like agree to the extra shares which will dilute you badly or the company runs out of cash and gets put up for sale, why he does not sell it is obvious , easy money for him and his cohorts to keep earning here, desperate times here needs to put the asset up for sale divi it up and go back to Canada with his tale between his legs, had you lot over a barrel for long enough, holders need to reject the offer of more shares and he will be forced to sell up, Chinese will buy it might get some money back, let Young carry on issuing shares like confetti and you will definitely go broke here.
