I have been looking at IHT.As I am becoming an old git now.It is a minefield out there !!

Very important to know that only 700 Co's are IHT exempt in the AIM .
HMRC does not tell you who these Co's are !! There is a Fund called Octopus Investments that specialize in these Co's. You have to be invested in the Fund for two years before you are IHT exempt. There is no limit to the amount you can invest in this fund.
Personal allowance is of £325K per person, with added relief of £125K up to this year, if you include your house in your Will to your family. Extra £50K will be added to this figure by 2020. £25K per year relief on your house. So in effect 500K exemption for an individual person by 2020. This applies to me as I am not married. For married couples the amount differs.
The other ways are by gifting other things like property etc to loved ones but you have to live for 7 years after giving the gift. You can't gift your home, if you do then you have to pay the going rate rent to whoever you gift it to.
Then again you can always sleep on a lumpy mattress :o) LOL.
I hope some of this information is of use to someone on here.
The TAX man shafts you while you are in your working life, he wants to shaft you when you are dead as well !! The rich have their accountants to help them, the middle class gets caught in the net. Last year HMRC collected over 5.2 Billion from IHT.

Yes Peawaks, I got caught by KAZ, I should have sold out. I was in @ £5.30.
Should have sold them @ £11. Hindsight and all that. Not a big deal. Some you win some you lose. Maybe AMC will make it up. I have done well with PFC. That's life in the Stock Market.

Seaclipper, there will have been some in KaZ at £15 per share. Assuming you don't buy £15 shares by the dozen, that's a big loss for some. Long term job for them now !

Trump is not helping at the moment.
$ is to strong and the Stock Market quite shaky.The Chinese and Americans are going to have a meeting in a Months time,hope they come to some agreement.
Erdogan of Turkey is worst then Trump. He has become a Dictator all but in name.Turkish TL has been hit hard, cheap holidays in Turkey now. Etc,etc.
All Commodities were hit hard yesterday. Copper and Gold also down. Copper is used to weigh up the World Economy. Time to hold plenty of dry powder IMO.

RY is polishing this up "If successfully converted to Indicated this would allow for this block of mineralisation to be included in future updates to the Pre-Feasibility Study ("PFS") where it can be inserted into the earlier years of production by supplanting a portion of the currently defined MOR potentially increasing the estimated Net Present Value ("NPV") and Internal Rate of Return ("IRR"), whilst simultaneously allowing the Company to take advantage of reduced Net Profits Tax ("NPT") and Metals Royalty Tax ("MRT")."
