I sold my final chunk at 15p on the way down.. average just under 4p.. :-)
On the push up to 44p i sold some in the 20s in the 30s but the biggest chunk at 42p..
Any negative Russian news like today will always be an excuse to push it down..

If you want a slam dunk trade sell the South African Rand..ZAR its only going one way..

Evening Mad.. I held this for over 5 years and always felt 3p was the bottom.
I well remember it hitting 44p because i sold a massive chunk at 42p and was holding out for more but it never came. Back then before it popped this would always bounce around the 3p - 4p area and i loaded up quite a few shares at 3p. Lets see how it plays out and if it pops again and i miss out then there will be no sulking from me..
ATM i will just watch from the sidelines.. gla..

Games being played here. A handful of shares traded and closing share price higher than any quotes, all day ! 14% up, but how ? What's going on ? Market makers taking the mick.

Fingers crossed for News soon! When the PFS comes out we should see this fly and settle at a new base. It won't be £1+ though as far too much more to do... I'm hoping for 50p before another funding deal which will dilute the shares again...

I think RY does more damage than he realises with his use of vague information and hints. It's damaged his credibility which in turn means we give away more equity than we need to. It's a shame. Great geologist and project lead. Lacking PR and finance leadership.

Tending to agree. If the PFS was ready, he wouldn't be sending messages and hints through third party analysts. It would just happen, I think.

Amur Minerals Corporation (LON:AMC) said the 2018 drill programme at its wholly-owned Kun-Manie nickel-copper sulphide project in the Far East of Russia is well advanced.

Robin Young, CEO of Amur Minerals, commented: "With our drill programme being over 80% complete and having experienced no downtime at the rigs, work is swiftly advancing toward completion of our three key objectives in this year's drill effort.”


Young added: "We have already completed all infill drilling of limited areas in each of the four areas where we anticipate mining to occur. This information represents the final milestone required for inclusion in our work to obtain final Russian reserves as in accordance with Russian Federation requirements to obtain the necessary approvals for mine plans, designs and schedules.

The CEO continued: "Once all final analytical results are available, we can begin to compile the TEO, a Russian feasibility document. We are also nearing completion of conversion of a large high grade, higher net operating profit per tonne Inferred resource at Ikenskoe/Sobolevsky.

“The upgrade to Indicated resource should enable us to enhance the production schedule and related PFS cash flow model. We anticipate further improvement of the projected NPV and IRR beyond that of our current positive results.”

He concluded: “There is a second enhancement that could be derived with this conversion step being completed. That is by mining this during the first 10 years of production, there is added upside related to the reduced Net Profits and Metal Royalties structure for the Far East which will further benefit the project.

“Metallurgical sample collection is also advancing and we anticipate successful completion of this year's drill objectives by mid-September."

Reports from New Caledonia say the SLN nickel company has acceded to instructions by the northern province to halt its mining expansion plans in Kouaoua.


The site has been blockaded for nearly a month, which prompted SLN to stop all operations and deploy staff elsewhere.

In view of the conflict, the northern province asked for a suspension of the plans.

SLN had been given the consent to expand mining by local elders but a group of dozens of protesters objected, citing environmental concerns.

The Kouaoua mine produces about 600,000 tons of nickel ore a year, accounting for about 20 percent of the ore used by the SLN smelter in Noumea.

The mining expansion was expected to almost double the share of ore which Kouaoua provides for SLN.

French-mediated talks have been held between the elders and the protesters, but the impasse continues.

More talks are expected in the days to come.
