11/7/2018 19:24 | Trump won't risk killing global demand, and he knows the Chinese have even more to lose. At the moment it's a classic game theory, and I don't blame him for having a go, the Chinese have been riding global business slipshod. Markets are being hit by fear of what could happen. | madengland_
11/7/2018 13:56 | Trump Slump. The floor has fallen under copper price. My KAZ shares have taken a hammering !! The oil price down as well. All because he wants a fight with China ?? | callmebwana
11/7/2018 10:21 | 12 yrs in.......Then along came Trump ! “Plans by the US for an additional $200bn of tariffs on Chinese goods has caused investors to lose their appetite for risk and seek solace in more defensive sectors such as consumer goods and utilities.” | peawacks

Back here just for Xmas and New Year then back to Cyprus and Turkey. I only spend about 4 months here in the UK now. I have got it worked out just right with the weather. | callmebwana

09/7/2018 11:22 | CMB I have used FairFX for years to send money abroad. Not the best rate, but reliable, so know them and their near 400% rise over the last 18 months, but a lot of competition has come into that market in the last few years. | s0lis
09/7/2018 10:39 | Thank you very much S0lis. I thought you may know the answer. Even @ 6% return or getting better is a very good return. The Yearly Chart for Nickel has interested me very much.I am sure our day here will come with AMC. I am fully loaded here in AMC.I am just looking for a safe haven for a lump sum. O/T. I have invested in FFX,SCH because PAY PAL have 3 Billion for accusations and am hoping for a takeover some where. Please look up FXX, I did mention it to you the other day. GLA LTH with AMC. I am sure our boat will arrive one day. | callmebwana
09/7/2018 10:22 | CMB Norilsk listed on LSE as MNOD in US$. Current divi is 113c giving about 6%. However, the forecast is for a 2018 divi of 170c. Since Putin has so many Billions in quoted companies, there was talk of a law being passed that 25% of profits had to be distributed. Not sure if this came into law or whether there was a build up period for this. Despite potential rapprochement Trump/Putin I have enough opportunities in the UK and enough in Russia via AMC, so have not looked at MNOD in detail. GL | s0lis
09/7/2018 10:11 | CMB No funds at mo. Fully invested HERE, in AAZ since 5p(you 2) BPC, FST, FUM and mainly SB'ing. | s0lis
09/7/2018 10:02 | LME Nickel. Source KITCO. $6.357 lb. LME Nickel stock @ 268392 TONs. Does anyone hold shares in MNOD ? Norilisk Nickel ADRs. I have been told that it pays a dividend of 10%. I would be very grateful if someone can confirm that. I feel since Nickel is in an uptrend for the year I should invest in Nickel. No good holding money in the Banks. Thanks in advance. Edit. I bet S0lis knows the answer, being an accountant. :0) | callmebwana
08/7/2018 23:19 | S0lis. You have hit the nail on the head and so has Tadaska. See what tomorrow brings. Hey S0lis take a look at FXX. That is going to go the distance. DYOR and NAI. | callmebwana
08/7/2018 16:36 | Logan How very chivalrous of you to look after everyone else on thhis BB, but if you believe that there is a question about AMC as a going concern, I do not see why you are even posting on this BB as you have no shares in AMC and have worked so hard for your money. | s0lis

08/7/2018 12:48 | call - I totally disagree it is very unusual for a companies auditors to write that there is a Material Uncertainty on a company's ability to continue as a going concern. I have been looking at AMC for 5 years and I will continue to look at them as they have a world class asset however at the moment AMC is too much of a lottery for me to put my hard earned money in. I just have a horrible feeling that once the loan and interest payments have been converted in to New Shares and these new shares have been sold to the Private Investors, AMC will then be allowed to go bust and picked up for a pittance by another mining company. | loganair
08/7/2018 09:57 | Logan, just a very simple question for you, what do you gain by being a continues deramper on here ?? Have you got a Short on AMC? You admit AMC have a world class asset, so AMC will be bought out. You have not answered the question I asked of you ? What is the NPV per share now? Do you want us all to sell at a lose and just walk away? All Co trading statements post the above to cover themselves, when they need finance.LOL you don't give up. | callmebwana
07/7/2018 21:27 | flug - How have I not got my facts wrong the new shares issued are as per the RNSs and the $10mln loan facility all the principal and all interest will be payable in shares as AMC do not have the money to repay the loan or interest in cash....this is a fact. "At the date of the approval of this report, the Group had not met the required milestones for receipt of the next advance of US$2 million." - I make a slight mistake and said they had already drawn down $2mln and were looking for the next $4mln when it is the other way round, AMC have already drawn down $4mln and looking to drawn down a further $2mln of their loan facility. | loganair
07/7/2018 18:47 | Noloss pointless arguing with a guy that hasn't got any of his facts about AMC correct. ie.."AMC are trying to drawn down a further $4mln from their loan facility where both the Principal and Interest will be paid for in issuing new shares and they still owe $1.2mln from the original $2mln draw down of the loan facility." Clueless To$$er. Logan....stick to telling kiddies scary bedtime stories !! | flugelhorn
07/7/2018 11:07 | nol - I just looked through the RNS's since the 1st of April. 09 Apr 1.7mln 13 Apr 1.8mln 19 Apr 1.8mln 26 Apr 3.6mln 02 May 0.6mln 16 May 3.4mln 20 Jun 3.5mln Total 16.4mln new shares issued. AMC are trying to drawn down a further $4mln from their loan facility where both the Principal and Interest will be paid for in issuing new shares and they still owe $1.2mln from the original $2mln draw down of the loan facility. This $4mln will at best last AMC until the end of the year when they will most probably need to draw down the final $4mln of the loan facility where again the Principal and interest will be paid for by issuing new shares. The major factor in the number of new shares to be issued is going to be the share price, 3p, 4p, 5p or 6p. At 3p, around 230mln new shares will need to be issued to pay off the $9.2mln principal of the loan where as at 6p, around 125mln new shares will need to be issued. | loganair |
