Well got the gap up and the 50 held as support as it did at 12p. Now looking for increasing volume as the first sign of the right hand side of the bowl forming.

Talking of negative there is one aspect of AMER that does concern me and that is its dealings with the indigenous people in the Putamayo area. I am not really sure how truthful the accusations are but it does make me uneasy to read such things as this (translated using Google translate from the link below):

The peace agreements between the Colombian government and the Farc guerrilla army - Ep three years ago, provided for the substitution of illicit crops and a plan for the redistribution of land: "The agreements were clear: we uprooted the coca plants, looking for a productive alternative, while the government gave us 2 million pesos (about 500 euros) every two months for a year and was committed to building schools and hospitals. But apart from the primer pay, nothing has arrived. The conflict has not ended, but it has become complicated, now that the FARC has withdrawn. And people are giving in to Amerisur."

That is the MULTINATIONAL of oil, branch of the English "Amerisur Resources", which here in Putumayo has in concession almost a million hectares and was quick to offer farmers without more money, contracts from hunger - the so-called twenty-day, 28 days of work - regardless of environmental damage. The beautiful river behind Magola is completely contaminated.

The bold parts are my empthasis and make for uneasy reading. I am sure it does to most of you too. I would hope it is not true and that there is a lot of exaggeration to try and get some benefit out of it somehow, but unless an investor actually travels there to see for themselves will we ever know? I wonder whether this also, in any way, is having an influence on the share price. Nobody likes "bad press"!

"Oh, good grief", I think you really need to put the bed against a wall so you can only get out one side, the good one! Not exactly the flexible/understanding type are you Lucy? Most people would just let it pass if they weren't interested in charting and make no comment. But you believe it is worthy of comment while many people (I am no chartist by the way) believe in it. Everyone has their way of investing.

I'll filter you when I'm good and ready. I beat you to it! Whatever you type from here on will not be visible to me as I know it will be something negative and not really contribute to AMER.

Having said that apologies to everyone else for clogging up the board with a wasted non-AMER post. Will be AMER focused in future as I don't have to reply to anything Lucy says now ;-)

end of day mid price was quite disappointing imo but apart from that agree the shares broken out from the wedge. Not unusual to have a sideways move from a falling wedge that turns into a bowl shape but will still be looking for a gap up in the morning on the mid to be happy.

I am here for the long term. I was going to buy my final tranche at 16.50p but might see where this goes to now as I do think next news will be drill result from Calao-1 in mid March. I was planning to average up but may end up averaging down...

5 interviews so far this year reiterating the news over the last couple of months and absolutely no positive effect on the share price Might as well have just not bothered and focused on running the company.

Weird analysis... I think the break-out from the recent downtrend has already occurred and we are consolidating in the new up-trend but then wtfdik.

I'll filter you when I'm good and ready. Your post added nothing to what I and many others already knew, having watched the same presentation, however I ploughed through it, looking for a nugget of information I may have missed, which wasted my time as much as many others who may have thought your "analysis" had a point.
