I don’t think the seller is keeping the share price at these levels, it’s more likely the MMs keeping a lid on it while there’s an II on the continuing buying mission. Mates’ rates and back scratching...

Noticed a small error in the presentation...Llanos 34 doesn't produce 55,000bopd, it's currently running at a touch over 70,000bopd.

RetailRonnie re 16902

I've not looked at the figures to confirm, but Canaccord's 8% appearance since August would most likely be a result of their integration of Hargreave Hale's portfolios and Clients, sooner that their own market activity.

with all that buying today 17p seems to be new barrier. Considering what we have got here it seems unreal

Agree JW does not seem to be over egging the opportunities in the interview and the presentation is great to have. What has struck me is from the interview he is over for a week to perhaps emphasis on the potential and new investment ?

I've watched quite a few E&P CEOs over the years..... John Wardle comes across extremely well. It helps that he has such a good story to tell, but he's not making wild promises, just telling the story......& waiting for the punters to catch up.

RTD so am I! However I bought my last tranches too early after the recent good news and feel like this is just going to keep slowly falling. I can’t see much news between now and Calao-1 results so might be a painful 6 weeks. I’d love to be wrong but for me the question is when to buy.

The interview does give a lot of confidence... I know it's a PR interview but even so sounds all very exciting. May even be tempted to blow the cobwebs of my dusty wallet and buy a few more!

Ronnie

Canaccord Genuity bought out Hargreaves Hale, but it looks as if they have gone up through the 7% thresh hold (and possibly the 8%).

Slides 17 and 18 are eye-popping. CPO-5 could become 50mmbo+ net to AMER, possibly much more. (note *could* - but I always look for a good story to capture the imagination)

Not sure I like this (slide 5):
"Strategic asset portfolio built, attractive to a new country entrant or existing player" (Hopefully they mean farm-in, not sale)

Worth listening to the interview first ;o) JW says they have the cash to do what's planned and more besides. Reassuring to sat least, "very, very excited" about Putumayo programme. Final stages, sounds imminent.

Mariposa OWC risen 10ft after 1 million barrels produced suggests that that is a separate structure rather than being linked to Indico? Still being coy about current cash balances in the slide presentation (haven't listened to interview yet) only quoting 30Jun figures. Overall encouraging picture.

Ref to no OWC contact at Indico-1 and no change in pressure flow at Mariposa. Muy grande! Up with the largest in Colombia. Santa Caterina!!

A figure for Plat....

"Focus is to maintain production at 3-4,000+ BOPD plateau"

$0.9 million Capex spend planned.

62% held by institutions.

The rest is all good and will be no doubt be discussed to death all.

Strong cash position to do "...and MORE!"

Serious, emphatic update. Great stuff. Clearly they're after more rigs for CPO5 and one for the bears, more targets in Platanillo.
