News on finding a drill for Sol-1, update from Ind-1, further director buys... risky trying to trade. Each to their own. Happy to sit and wait and will 're evaluate my strategy as news is released.

juuunx2 - The drilling results will be a few weeks so some may be trying to sell and buy lower. Of course, news on other developments could come at any time (hopefully) and catch them out! I can't trade so just have to stay put!

we will have another rig before Calao-1 result for sure, As for 16p be lucky to see that again stake building here 17p looks the low grab them while you can low volume again not enough sells price will go up to fill the order book. JW doing his rounds selling the black stuff happy days.

The "idea" that I posted is that Merkel might just veto the EU bureaucratic nonsense and we could end up with an "amicable divorce" better for everyone, including the markets.

I don't take investment advice from anonymous posters on a BB, but for your information, I regard AMER, at this point in time, as a "special case" and continue holding: it will not be good if the whole market does get trashed, but hopefully the arbitrage on "Rexit" will exceed the downside of Brexit. For LTH's of course, such downs and ups just test resolve.

Charlieee, with respect, you shouldn’t be an investor in any oil&gas stock quoted on a UK market given the ideas you post. I sincerely hope you understand the concept of arbitrage. If not, I suggest you learn about the concept wrt to (pure) commodities’ markets.

It never does to totally ignore local political events.

Looking close to home for AMER, you only have to compare the reversal of fortunes in Venezuela and Colombia to support that point.

Re the global dimension of oil and gas and currency effects on it, there is no guarantee, as both markets are in the hands of the few and in a changing world order.
