I've parked RRE in the "too difficult" box! Assume you've seen the latest AMER pres? It's worth a look at the interview with malcy as well, if you've not already seen it. Down south these days.

A bit of fishing and now need to replenish reserves, bought a few lots of RRE as a bit like Paladin in its day and fancy a few here and volume a bit more encouraging but would prefer to see how it handles a couple of big footsie down days first. You north or south of the border these days or back in your homeland?

TGG -- re. Knackers / your '' I'm perfectly formed '' :-)

Perhaps 'we haven't got the knack as he has'

Southerners read it slowly twice or google knack -- lol

Blimey Mick!!! Where've you been hiding? Re AMER, if Calao comes in, the market should start taking this co seriously.

btw, see another couple of chunky trades (@17.0p) were published around half 5

This is the CPO-5 E-2029 rig from Estrella, an Argentinian company that seems to have bought out a couple of Colombian service contractors (dunno if drilling outfits)

Seems to be the biggest rig in Estrella's largish Colombian fleet, measured by mast height and hook load.

[156ft mast - 1,400,000 pounds • Top Drive 500 Ton Mud Pumps: three pumps of 1600 HP Mud Tanks: three tanks with Total capacity 1200 bls BOP 13 5/8 "10,000 psi Choke Manifold 10,000 psi 500 Ton Hook Rotary Table: Rotary Load 362 Ton; Setback Capacity: 272 Ton Rack capacity: 18,600 feet 5 "DP]

Not the best of photos, but gives an understanding of why it takes a while to rig down/up.

Can better that Knackers

For in the Market-place, one Dusk of Day,
I watch'd the Potter thumping his wet Clay:
And with its all obliterated Tongue
It murmur'd—"Gently, Brother, gently, pray!"

We're all anonymous numpties on a continuum from ill-formed..

..I'm perfectly formed, although often lacking that critical piece of information....

Careful not to tar yourself with the same brush TGG, after all you're above the average salt here ;o) We're all anonymous numpties on a continuum from ill-formed to blind ignorance [thank heaven].

As Omar Khayyam mused in his Rubaiyat...

Then to the rolling Heav'n itself I cried,
Asking, "What Lamp had Destiny to guide
Her little Children stumbling in the Dark?"
And — "A blind understanding!" Heav'n replied.

OXY were sufficiently satisfied of AMER' competency to farm in whilst leaving AMER as operator.

And that is a worry......

...That's a tricky one. Whose opinion to trust..... a large, established oilco, or some anonymous numpty on a bulletin board....hmmmmm

ONGC ARE the operator of CPO-5.

Just a regular Institutional share exchange being worked through; who cares from who to who. It happens. Possible holding RNSs to follow idc.

tyler, if that is the case then it only accelerates the process of seller running out of shares. Potentially lots of news on many fronts so if that is post Rex then it could be beneficial to other shareholders.

Xxjnr, I think there is a battle between our seller and our buyer. AT's trying to hold it back for both agendas. One thing I think we all can agree on is the share price is being manipulated.

In view of JW being over here doing the rounds, the share price is not reacting as we would wish and doesn't show enthusiastic City purchases.....or does it.

Now Lucy and others, I'm not suggesting this is the situation but with JW doing the rounds, wouldn't Rex if he is still around want to drop a spanner in the works, so what better than during JW's rounds?

If not, then if there's no additional institutional interest showing up shortly in crossing percentages then disappointing.

For the record I hold and have done for quite a while so the poster suggesting otherwise is completely off the mark.

Money, not sold any as my buffer is pretty robust having bought my 3 tranches from 15 to 10p range. However, I did top up the current Mrs leas ISA at 19p. :)

Seems an increased intensity to sell today. Certainly a change in the recent trading pattern. Perhaps we have seen the bottom now.

Leas1 thats pretty much inline with my thinking, I did sell some a few weeks back and re-bought them yesterday so i have a nice buffer to cover transfer costs. If the current well comes in at something like 3k plus this will go mental
