So it was arranged to bring the price down to this level 17.50 v 17.58p

BWD - £1 by Christmas - LOL. The old ones are the best. And that's a very old one. Who remembers the first person to say it on here and when? Probably on the old board. At last a sure method of establishing AMER's worth - what someone is prepared to pay for it, whatever daily production and the OBA numbers suggest it might be. This is the way JE exited from Emerald a few years ago, a trade sale, and what I have always anticipated was their end game. But it looks like old age has caught up with them (and I was young when I first bought these!) before production ever really got where they'd hoped. So a more modest exit than all our early hopes. But an exit for all that. Only a v small holding and - thank you ML - in no hurry to add. GLA

Agree. There is an indication of multiple parties being involved. If this drags out for months then we should also see some operational updates as well which could add value. Bidders would be aware of this information too. Also, the cash pile is likely to build up through free cash flow
