25/7/2019 08:41 | FEELS LIKE IMMINENT RNS OF BID OFFER OF 35P COULD LAND ANY MINIUTE, BUYS FLOODING IN ON LEVEL 6 | kirk2
25/7/2019 08:34 | How long is a piece of string?? Depends on how long any negotiations are and how keen any buyers are on completing a deal. I do wish people wouldn't keep stating their dreams that an RNS is coming out imminently with an offer for X pence (X = the dream price). It would be great if there was an inside track on what is happening, but unlikely. However if one has to do this, how about stating your source? i.e. this is what I would like to see happen or whatever?? :0) | mrx001
25/7/2019 08:29 | 1 month, 3 months, 8 months depends. This is a useful guide | xxnjr
25/7/2019 08:27 | How long does this process usually go on for? | gemlotte55
25/7/2019 08:26 | Would seem so, unless a company outs itself as M&P did. And until we get to the end of the process. | xxnjr
25/7/2019 08:19 | So is Christmas. Information lock down. | gtfcniles
25/7/2019 08:19 | The Takeover Panel has granted a dispensation from the requirements of Rules 2.4(a), 2.4(b) and 2.6(a) of the Code such that any interested party participating in the formal sale process will not be required to be publicly identified as a result of this announcement (subject to note 3 to Rule 2.2 of the Code) and will not be subject to the 28 day deadline referred to in Rule 2.6(a) of the Code, for so long as it is participating in the formal sale process. | xxnjr

25/7/2019 01:28 | A share buyback is a fun idea, but IMO playing firmly and politely hard to get will bring the best result. I hope anything under 30p gets short shrift like M & P, and over 30p should be matched up publicly against cash & assets, which would make 35p a baseline figure. At the same time, all good news should be brandished & RNSed as this will talk up the shares price. Any spudding should be started asap, & AMER should be seen to be waiting for noone, just looking after number 1; itself & its' owners. If the board play this right I expect 40p-ish and a not-unhappy buyer. | napoleon 14th
25/7/2019 00:28 | It wouldn't surprise me if the deal has already been agreed with Indians or yanks I don't think they will release any info good or bad now regardless | juuunx2
24/7/2019 23:48 | However....Stifel target price of 37p does not take account of any news on Plat22 or Sol 1 or Indico 2 drilling commencement...if this plays out for a few weeks news will out and influence target price either for better or worse...I'm hoping for better.... | mintington
24/7/2019 22:17 | Not quite sure what Extinction Rebellion would make of that FSA . . . ;o) Share club consensus in safff-London: Success/BoD interest close to 20% discount on Stifel target price of 37p. | knackers

24/7/2019 19:33 | "Intheknow6924 Jul '19 - 13:03 - 21912 of 22012 RNS imminent! Sources saying multiple bids confirmation RNS with the highest being 29p. No confirmation if it is being accepted or not! FILL YOUR BOOTS BOYS AND GIRLS!" I detest blatant rampers. Can we not track them down and have them executed? | crossing_the_rubicon
24/7/2019 18:14 | Amerisur sure of saleAmerisur sure of saleBy Alex HamerOil and gas explorer/producer Amerisur Resources (AMER) put itself up for sale after receiving a non-binding offer last week, and showed its confidence by immediately shutting down a bid.AMER:LSEAmerisur Resources PLC1mthToday change5.06% Price (GBP)18.70After kicking off the formal process, the company reported a 17p per share bid, or around £200m, by an arm of Indonesian state player Pertamina, Maurel & Prom. The 40-per-cent premium on the undisturbed share price of 12p was not enough for Amerisur's board, who said it "materially undervalued" the company and its Colombian assets.Amerisur is now trading at the bid level of 17p, meaning its valuation has returned to a level last seen in January. Amerisur said other companies were also interested but only confirmed conversations had taken place as of Tuesday. Panmure Gordon analyst Colin Smith said Amerisur seemed to have a "significant degree of confidence" in a better offer, given its flat refusal of Maurel & Prom's offer. At the end of May, the company was averaging 6,800 barrels of oil per day in production. Amerisur has also signed a farm-in agreement with Occidental Petroleum for four prospects in Colombia, in which the major will fund $93m (£74m) in exploration in return for 50 per cent of each block. | fatgreek
24/7/2019 18:13 | Yes M&P offered 17p but was rejected as undervalued. Most ppl expect something between 25-35p. | marioboss
