Rossannan. Amer is not being sold for 25p quite simply, the BOD and institution investors wouldn’t accept it.

Ross - Agree 20p would not be acceptable to most so cant see how that would go through. I think the BoD should be aware of this. As an improved bid I could see it being put forward by M&P although the likelihood is that this would need to be higher to be successful

In fairness I think most long termers have been pretty honest and genuine with their posts regarding time frames and possible share price movement / takeout price, unfortunately this board has recently been inundated with lots of day traders who have been posting utter unadulterated nonsense and as such have made a mockery of lots of the genuine research and coverage which has been posted.

Thankfully we now appear to have returned to some sort of normality.........

Hi Westie, You were missed. There was also talk of golden handcuffs for JW if the whole shebang was sold rather than a few assets. It was hard to be realistic about timescales. Last time I was involved in a private company sale, the whole process took three years. It would be quicker with a listed company but still many months. So I think the current share price reflects the markets realistic understanding of the process and the timescales. Q

Might be wrong, but the £1+ from GC was at a time when there were considerably
fewer shares in issue.

Not all of us are gone, but I've never been a £1 next week, but £1+ which after all was derived from none other than GC and is still easily doable.
