Start at the Occidental deal and work from there imv.

A lot of price anchoring going on around here at the moment. There is no forced sell here, this is an opportunistic move on the part of Amerisur.

Would any take-out price be lower than the highest BOD buy a few months ago? Surely have to be looking at a premium to those. I posted a list of those a while back but can't search for it just now.

Remember John Wardle bought recently at around 20p. I think they’ll split cpo5, sell that to ongc. And the rest will be bid between gran Tierra and occidental.

I reckon the company is worth about 30p/share now risked, assuming a 50% farm out of PUT 30, you throw in all the heavy oil stuff risked at a piffling $2.5p NPV/bbl and 5% COS.

Un-risked I have 95p.

The BoD need to think about this very carefully.

Even after such a RNS the seller continues to offload. This is why the company needs to be sold. The seller is utterly relentless. It almost feels as though this situation's been deliberately manufactured to facilitate a cheap bid
