In that case is there anybody out there that really thinks switching from monthly to quarterly updates was a good idea?

Investors need news flow and it was always going to be quiet time. Nathan is meeting shareholders at the Scottish Oil club in Sept and there's a lot of drill activity planned for Q4. Sol-1 flow results due any day though I'm not expecting much, 300bopd, 1m 2P net to AMER though in the big scheme nothing is currently priced in.

Consistent OBA figures 5 - 8 July - 4020,4144, 4110 and 4114.As said Plat 22 will be interesting for incremental volume - Sol-1 doubtful will bring meaningful volume but hopefully greater understanding and what ONGC want to do over the next 12 mths.

Plat-22 was producing 800 b/d a year ago, then fell to 360, and will be 0 during the side track. Recent figures show a 400 b/d fall vs May, which is probably largely accounted for by Plat 22 shut-down, and we will hopefully see +800ish once p22 is back online. Plus Sol-1, so easily 7000+ b/d shortly.

So we must be pumping about 6000 a day with the producing wells with ONGC, if we can get a couple more wells going would be nice to get to the 10,000 barrels a day mark.....

Hopefully the collapse will not lead to a firesale of all of the holdings.

With the collapse of Ironveld imminent, is there a chance that the myth that GC has a clue what he doing in the investment business can finally be put to bed?

The climate emergency isn't the problem, it's a symptom of the problem. The problem is overpopulation by humans An increase from 3 billion to 7 billion in the last century and all of them wanting to eat and procreate and have a piece of what you've got.You can't solve the climate problem unless you solve that problem first. Us all eating veggie burgers just gives the foolishly mistaken impression that we are making a difference, keeps our heads buried in the sand and allows us to blame the inevitable wars over resources on someone else. Will that keep the wolves from the door? No chanceQ
