12/7/2019 09:36 | thanks mr puddifoot. 11th July? what is your source - many hours ahead of this one - | ![]() fadilz
12/7/2019 09:33 | So nearly 7,000 barrels a day now with CPO5. Plus third party oil which I have no idea how much we make on that?A couple more nice wells at CPO5 and we could be hitting 10,000 a day, then lots to do with OXY. Interesting times... | ![]() fatgreek

12/7/2019 08:41 | @xxnjr, good post, thanks. The only down side I see, and its a big one, is that we are the operator in this OXY/AMER joint venture. I would have more confidence if OXY were operator.....similar to ONGC. | ![]() 11_percent
12/7/2019 02:32 | Good post xxnjr! You are right, "so much potential". It just needs everything to come together and for the BOD to give a damn about its shareholders. Although it is an old nut that doesn't sit well with the long termers here, "patience should be rewarded" given all the new alliances (didn't all exist a while ago)and the upcoming drilling. I am still surprised to see us at the low 12p area though, never though it would be so at the start of the year when we reached the half way stage in the year! AMER shareprice down ~25% so far for the year. | ![]() lauders
11/7/2019 23:58 | Good grief Underhill2 - 15 to 20p would be a steal. I did write something along the following lines on LSE earlier, but the entire thread it was appended to was removed along with my message. Let's have another go here. Starting again from scratch, and if I can remember the main points from earlier, maybe I can change your mind. Basically if we just look at AMER's Putumayo net acre position where the company has 11 blocks. Only 2 blocks, Plat & Put 8 have 3D coverage. These blocks represent 6.4% of Amerisur's Putumayo net acreage position. AMER have only drilled & exploited 1 block, Platanillo, the net acreage of which represents 2.2% of Amerisur's Putumayo position. Not much action on the ground so far then. OTOH, and quite unexpectedly, the largest US independent E&P have inexplicably farmed into some of our Putumayo blocks. Even more bizarrely they paid a relatively high percentage of AMER's market cap to do so. OXY now share 48.57% of AMER's Putumayo net acreage position, have a deep understanding of regional play(s), and will have a game plan to exploit the considerable upside. Even if AMER do nothing whatsoever with their other blocks, I anticipate AMER will be dragged along, kicking and screaming, into actually doing some exploration work with OXY. In short to medium term we can expect AMER/OXY to drill well(s) on Put 8. AMER/OXY to shoot 202 Kms of 2D & drill well(s) on Put 9. This block has an existing discovery AIRU-1, that has tested c450 bopd of 28.5 API gravity from the Viletta. AMER/OXY to drill well(s) on Mecaya. This block has an existing discovery Mecaya-1, that tested c750 bopd of API 27.3 API gravity from the 'U' sand. 100% oil/0% water cut on test. There may (still) be a plan to put this well on Long Term Test. All of above is relatively small beer to OXY, but nevertheless impactful for Amerisur. These plays are well understood, finding more oil there should be relatively straight forward. Moving on, there's believed to be a High Impact to Any Company Heavy Oil Play in the Eastern Putumayo. 5 companies have locked out this play; OXY/AMER (Teracay & Tacacho), Frontera/Repsol (CAG 5 Technical Evaluation Area - if taken up) and Sinochem (Nogal Block) In short/med term AMER/OXY will be shooting 476 Kms of 2D on Teracay 200 Kms of 2D on Tacacho Assuming seismic confirms OXY's understanding of basin modelling, then expect some seriously high impact drilling programs to follow. This play is less mature, so will take time to progress. Why sell the company now for a pittance, given the huge upside that may lay before us? I'm putting my faith in OXY to get everyone out of this mess. I only hope the movers and shakers at Amerisur share this vision and have the wherewithal to make the necessary changes to facilitate the future pathway. | ![]() xxnjr
11/7/2019 20:20 | Could be Plat-22. Let's see if it is sustained. | ![]() fadilz
11/7/2019 20:19 | That's probably with the plat well back on stream. | ![]() fatgreek
11/7/2019 20:14 | Thats a difficult question to answer !. I will be happy with an offer in the region of 15 to 20p. | ![]() underhill2
11/7/2019 19:11 | OBA increased to 4,606 bopd (10th July) vs 4,115 bopd (9th July) and avg. 4,119 bopd (for first 10 days of July). | sji
11/7/2019 18:21 | there's no point in soliciting a takeover as the exploration upside would go for nowt. | ![]() xxnjr
11/7/2019 18:05 | What would you see as a possible takeover price? | ![]() fatgreek
11/7/2019 16:11 | Until we h ave more dynamic Management the potential of Amerisur will never be achieved. Im hoping that a takeover at a reasonable price will happen sooner than later. | ![]() underhill2

10/7/2019 12:46 | May not have affected AMER, but the blockades are no longer. ..... "We are very pleased that the Colombian national government has successfully negotiated an end to the blockades in the southern Putumayo." | ![]() xxnjr
10/7/2019 10:24 | In practice it seems they won't report on every well or event, but a frequency of 1-2 months. I'm fine with that - it just reflects increased activity. From production drop, I think they spudded Plat-22 around 20th June. Interesting to see whether the next ops update will be just sol-1, or whether they wait for Plat-22, in which case it may be late July. We should see Plat-22 in production figures before we get the RNS. | ![]() fadilz |
