Absolute rubbish, decisions are based on knowledge. It is also quite obvious the people that did know used it and that is why the share price had fallen over previous months.

Blackdown2, I agree with the sentiment, but I also believe there will be a change in that the share price will recover in the not too distant future. If nothing else, the efforts of our Indian friends oop north should ensure that.

A business of this magnitude should have risk assesmemt in place to negate these situations and where it can't be negated there is definately a bigger picture at hand. How about this - peace process has led to no FARC so this led to locals claiming back lands they were terrorised to leave by FARC and now they want there lands back or a huge slice of the pie and this dispute is just the start of a bigger protest growing in the country and there is nothing Amer can do to stop it???????

Nothing is going to change. If you don't like it, invest your money somewhere else. My point stands - the fact is that if we had all known what was happening, most of us wouldn't have done anything (except post here perhaps).

Better to have come out after the issue has been resolved and luckily while poo on the up.
The lads managing the news again but on this occasion it has probably protected the share price from a serious knock.

We now need a period of calm with no more disruptions to production to get back on track this could be as low as it gets first thoughts might be let's get the he'll out of this but after a stiff drink bad news might now be behind us. Good luck to all of us mugs that hope it will all turn out fine in the end.

Why would local protests even effect OBA production... it's not like blocking the road would have an impact?

I wonder if the decision to store some of the previous production also was related to these protests?

Seems its not just protests the mafia is moving in to take over from the farc destabilising different areas

No indication that the protests are over. I'm out uncertainty over this share now. Great prospects but any further disruption to production and this is going to tank further.

Nothing has changed fundamentally, however I still find it disgraceful the way the PI is treated and also the lack of any real regulation on AIM.
