I wonder who it is who is selling at multi year (5+) lows in the share price when the issues with the temporary shutdown have been resolved,


existing production back at 5000bopd (rising to 7000 bopd target by end of year)

spud of new well Platanillo-25 in just over a week

and commercial discovery at Mariposa-1 confirmed by operator with test production of 4500 bopd about to begin



funny old strategy whoever it is. If it is a fund or institution i wonder if their investors are aware of this unconventional approach to investing?

Hi Curry -- yes, should be an RNS in the morning. Just spoke to ML and he makes a valid point that CNGC are the operator and clearly entitled to release news first.

Wardle and co picked up AMER's 30% share in this gig for a song, so due some credit
and should give us a lift in the share price when the other 99.9% of folk outside the BBs
find out about it.

Plenty of buys coming through....guess people are just finding out the big news! CPO5 could make Amer a packet :) plus i believe the OBA throughput limit could very soon be raised my guess is between 10,000-20,000.

Odd that quite a few buys are being misrepresented - some people will pull any trick to keep a good share down!

Yes Lucy that was mine. There was only 65k left on the offer after Toon's 300k
purchase at 13.33pm and as Itsriskythat says in normal circumstances a 100k buy would cause a tick up.

I'll phone the Cardiff office and tell um -- lol

Price quoted for 100k is 16.875p buy and 16.7p sell. Just thinking that earlier 100k was a sell.

Thanks to Westmoreland Lad who rang me and spotted by Teraferma earlier managed to pick 300k up @17p think this could have a nice effect on the share price (I hope)_ that's if Giles Plonker is out of bed yet and maybe gets round to RNs this or maybe like not telling us about not stopping production earlier last month? Why bother telling the peasants like us anything.

ONGC Videsh to pump $150 million in Colombia, Kazakhstan & Bangladesh

NEW DELHI: ONGC Videsh, the overseas arm of the state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corp, plans to invest $150 million in exploration this fiscal year to drill more wells in Colombia, where it just made a commercial discovery, as well as in Kazakhstan and Bangladesh.

ONGCBSE Videsh, which operates the CPO-5 block of Colombia, has made a commercial discovery in its exploration well Mariposa-1, managing director Narendra Verma has said. The company is now drawing up plans for the development of the Mariposa-1 well that has begun a test production of 4,500 barrels per day, he said. The success has also opened opportunity for further exploration in the block.

“To chase this lead, we plan to drill two more wells,” Verma said. ONGC has 70% participating interest in CPO-5 block in which the remaining 30% stake is held by Amerisur Resources of UK. ONGC has participating interest in a total of six blocks in Colombia.

West.lad, in normal circumstances a 100k buy would cause a tick up. I wonder whether it's possible to do a 100k sell or it's too large? Good news still not in the price. Is all the news out there yet?

That news should have propelled Amerisur back above 20p. The fact it doesn't suggests that RH may still be offloading

So apparently ONGC Videsh/Amerisur are to drill more wells on the CPO-5 acreage, but it's the Indian press we find out from..! I wonder if GC and JW know yet - or maybe they forgot. An easy thing to do with the odd well or two. I look forward to our guys catching up with events and letting us know. Or perhaps we should tell them...
