Can anyone explain in simple terms what the benefit of spin tech's technology is over the competition and what would be the likely downside/drawbacks of their technology.

Well may prove to be a good call Bamboo, but a perverse foot and ankle normally results in a share price bounce (in my experience). I think it kicks the share price upwards?

judging by the price moves at 12.11pm and after, I suspect that that 83,645 at 620p / £520k trade may be a buy

it's quite easy to understand the price movement: up on announcements of r&d deals or pending deals. buoyed by institutional buying. recent drop due to anticipated Federated Wireless deal with Google? not yet being announced. that's it. technical analysis is fairly limited as it cannot predict news flow. all the best.

Skin, You must be a trained podiatrist to recognise that!

These INVH&S are often a good bet statistically. ie greater than 50% chance, assuming correctly ID'd.

It's got to be said though, the share price is all over the shop.

Could be an Inverse Head and shoulders on the 60min chart. If so, target approx 690.

Allied Minds has today announced its latest company formation, taking it to
22 subsidiaries. It is to form BridgeSat Inc. BridgeSat is developing an optical
connectivity system that aims to increase the speed, security and efficiency
of data transmission from Low Earth Orbit satellites at a lower cost than
traditional radio frequency solutions.
The Company co-invented this innovation with The Aerospace Corporation
as part of a collaboration for the federally funded research and development portfolio
of small satellite technologies. BridgeSat has partnered with Draper Laboratory and is
also collaborating with MIT’s Dr.Kerri L. Cahoy and the graduate student team in Space,
Telecommunications, Astronomy and Radiation (STAR) Laboratory, to further expand
development of its downlink system.
This appears to us to be another interesting and innovative addition to
Allied Minds start-up companies. In particular The Aerospace Corporation has
a long history of developing technologies for space. Demand for accurate
and frequent data collection from Low Earth Orbit satellites is expected
to accelerate over the next decade amid declining costs for building and
launching satellites.
We are making no changes to our financial forecasts.

I am an amateur at charts. Only been seriously into it for a few years and loads still to learn. :)

Looking at the trades, it does seem odd that with plenty of apparent sells, so many of the buys are NT. You'd think there would be plenty of spare stock about.

The share price seems to move disproportionately on extraordinarily low volume. I've never seen a large cap share behave in such a way. Very odd indeed.
