11/6/2015 15:34 | Seems to have lost some of its impetus of late. | ifthecapfits
05/6/2015 07:15 | alasdyes. Pritchard and investco. | r ball
04/6/2015 22:40 | Head and shoulders - back to £5? | hydrus
04/6/2015 20:40 | There is a big seller out there it would seem. Some big trades recently. Hopefully once he is taken out the price shoukd start to rise again. | alasdair100new
29/5/2015 16:25 | Agreed! FWIW. | ifthecapfits
29/5/2015 10:38 | No reason to sell | r ball
22/5/2015 17:35 | Thanks skin. It looks as if Woodford Investment Management has recently increased its holding in ALM from 37 million to 50 million shares. Good news I think. | investordave
22/5/2015 16:44 | Oh Yes, although I sold half my holding at about 680 three or four weeks ago. I expect to be in long-term but you never know! I think Allied Minds is probably over-valued at 600, but as I've said before, there really isn't an accurate way of valuing an investment such as this. Its a gamble, but one I'm prepared to take, for now anyway... | skinwalker
22/5/2015 15:37 | skin - possibly. Are you still in if you don't mind me asking? | investordave
22/5/2015 12:10 | Maybe time for you to sell/take profits Dave! | skinwalker
22/5/2015 11:09 | The worrying thing is that Invesco seem to be reducing their holding on a regular basis. Further large sells may therefore be in the pipeline. | investordave
22/5/2015 10:35 | The share price is inevitably volatile as this share is not valued by fundamentals. It is speculation and optimistic expectations that sets the share price of Allied Minds. Any perceived bad news will very likely have a significant negative effect on the share price Invesco/Woodford have been the main driving force behind the spectacular performance - for Invesco to sell is clearly negative whether or not the shares were bought by other institutional investors. The share price could go anywhere from here - back to 300p or £10 or more. Its a gamble! | skinwalker
21/5/2015 09:06 | Is there something we are not being told about this company? I can't believe how negative the reaction has been to yesterday's news. As i understand it all the 16 million shares that were sold are still in the hands of institutional investors so why the mad sell off? What's changed? | investordave
20/5/2015 15:36 | Given how illiquid the shares are that discount doesn't seem unreasonable. The other trades at 565p are almost certainly the other side of the placing being reported. Unless all of the shares have gone to long term institutions you will see some weakness as any shorter term investors who took the shares can drip into the market for a risk free profit as long as there are people willing to buy above 565p. It can fall below that level of course - look at OPHR: large investor placed at 140p when the share price was 165p and the share price now is 133p. However 565p may act as support because we are assuming that there were at least some long term institutions who were willing to buy at 565p so they may be happy to again. | dangersimpson2
20/5/2015 13:34 | I'm not sure how easily they were sold. They had to accept 565p when the share price was 650p | skinwalker
20/5/2015 12:58 | It's holding up fairly well all things considered and the fact that they managed to sell that amount fairly easily is another good sign!Let's hope we have some new greedy institutional investors who are going to drive the price up with some more buying! | alasdair100new
20/5/2015 11:22 | agreed... another 2mill or so, at around 565 or slightly above, have passed through so far in big chunks | abcd1234
20/5/2015 10:33 | It looks as if more than 16 million shares have been sold at £5.65 a share. Not sure what this means. | investordave
20/5/2015 09:15 | What's the big deal if as it would seem the 16 million shares have been taken up by other institutional investors? | investordave
20/5/2015 09:08 | I hold too, although I sold half my holdings a few weeks back. Hopefully an over-reaction. How many more shares do Invesco hold? Wouldn't want them to reduce further! Bamboo - now can you see why charting is useless? | skinwalker
20/5/2015 09:02 | Bit of an overreaction I feel. | ifthecapfits
20/5/2015 08:49 | I hold... And yes it's was bad for the share price Will be tough to stay above placing price in be short term | alasdair100new
20/5/2015 08:13 | they announced yesterday at 534pm, but as few /no one, holds here any more, no one noticed | abcd1234
20/5/2015 07:52 | "Further to the announcement released on 19 May 2015" What announcement on the 19th? Did invesco accounce? I'm short btw. | dasv |
