01/2/2016 09:56 | ...we shall see... (imo dirs. often buy before a cash raise.....in any case for other dir. buy it was a large % average down....(averaging up is better !))...ah, and I recall that 1 dir. sold some shares near end of 2015, ok he still has a big stake though) Do you agree a cash raise is needed ? (imo the French acquisition was partly done to help justify it...and French co. is loss making ) | smithie6
01/2/2016 09:50 | I agree it is illiquid-sometimes that can be an advantage, sometimes not. However 7DIG has risen without any press coverage and that in my view is normally a very good sign. Usually you will find that if a cash raising is required there is a brokers note issued and some press beforehand to ramp the price,in the case of 7DIG this has not been the case and directors buying does not happen before a fund raise. Directors normally buy in anticipation of good news to be released. We shall see. | loobrush
01/2/2016 09:39 | loobrush ...each to own views... ...loss making and imo needs to do a cash raising...so not for me... (the price rising 20% due to one buy of around 25k pnds..3M pnds increase in cap value..shows how illiquid it is imo..and nuts imo) --- I said the bounce to 35p was 'wrong'...and the jump at MOS to 20p.....I was right then... | smithie6
01/2/2016 08:22 | Smithie6-a week ago you said 7Dig was rubbish-wake up-its 100% up and rising fast.buy some before they rise another 100%. | loobrush
01/2/2016 08:03 | Not everyone is as clever as YOU sweenoid and bought 7dig IQE and that money machine, BOOM. | william_quinn
01/2/2016 07:56 | Yep Its always great to see a director ( ned'sincluded) buying. In this case buying well off the low. Smithie -we don't need YOU to tell us that the video was PR ;-) That's not important, what is, is that the CONTENT was excellent, you buy into it or you don't. I think SC is excellent, we have an eminent chairman and then we have Pete Downton too, a dynamic team indeed. S | sweenoid
01/2/2016 07:24 | And now we learn that our new and hugely respected NED Paul McGowan has bought 250k of shares at the end of a week in which they've risen almost 100%, that's quite a statement!---7digita | iainbarclay
31/1/2016 23:59 | However a cynic may say that - same MD gave all the same promises for years for UBC ....and the share price fell a lot over those years.....and ppl that put in real cash to fund growth lost most of it - the interview is not an interview but merely a monologue, from a company that gets paid to do interviews and publicise them. Its a PR company. - look at the other interviews hosted at same website with dirs. 99% are from companies that are imo a disaster. - a high % of 7DIG contract 'wins' are with start ups, hence with no turnover...which one assumes have a high change of not surviving and hence of not being able to keep paying fees to 7DIG - 7DIG is loss making and the company it is buying in France is also loss making not exactly a success story - imho the company needs to do a cash raising | smithie6
30/1/2016 15:12 | This video interview posted by iainbarclay is a MUCH WATCH. It explains very well what 7DIG do and where the are going and at the end how big they could be in a couple of years. If it gets as big as he thinks it could be the biggest music selling company in the world or one of the biggest. Within 3 years the MD expects their market share to be at least 30% of a $250 million market (£176 million ) Which equals 30% x £176 million = £52 million. Maybe someone could do the maths to see what the profit might be or even calculate what this should equal in share price terms ! Share price would be many times todays that's for sure. 29/1/2016 12:16 | MQA is not really new news-but it's good that the 'word' is spreading As for as who will want it-well EVERYONE who shells out a fortune on speakers for a start-why spend £00's or even £000's as some of my friends do on high end speakersand then stream anything but the best audio quality. Someone I know spends up to £50 a metre on his speaker cables let alone the speakers! This is a HUGE opportunity and now it's easily available all of the premium hardware companies will be pushing it-1st adopters will simply have to have that content and from there it trickles down to the masses. Look at the business model, look at the growth opportunities in massive markets and look at our share price , there's a mismatch folks S | sweenoid
29/1/2016 11:50 | Reading this again I can now see more opportunities here with the MQA (studio quality music) downloads that they are now offering. It's possible one of the really big boys signs up for it. Now that would be something. | loobrush
29/1/2016 11:37 | Is this world first causing the interest London, UK and Las Vegas, US, January 7 2016 – 7digital, leading B2B digital music and radio services company, announces their first content available in MQA, a new revolutionary end-to-end technology that delivers master quality audio in a file that’s small enough to stream or download. Following the announcement of their global strategic partnership as the leading platform provider of MQA, from January 11, 7digital will for the first time have indie label content available in this higher quality format on their platform for B2B clients. This content will also be available for download by customers of both the 7digital D2C web store and mobile apps, with the company becoming the first digital music platform provider to offer MQA for both download and streaming. In addition, Onkyo – one of the world’s foremost creators of innovative home entertainment products – is working with 7digital to include the new MQA technology into its high resolution audio store, onkyomusic. From January 8, users will be able to access indie label MQA content in onkyomusic, a store powered by 7digital (branded e-onkyo music in Japan). Onkyo, and its subsidiary Pioneer, are also launching digital audio players with MQA playback capability. Currently, 7digital has 46 B2B clients running digital music services accessible to consumers in 33 countries around the world. The company also has licensing rights in 82 countries, to enable quick time-to-launch for prospective new client services throughout the world. | loobrush
29/1/2016 10:54 | Certainly seems like a major re-rating is underway here. | someuwin
29/1/2016 10:25 | 7DIG up 9% is picking up some momentum this morning on quite small volume Maybe the funds are taking some interest and realising that this could become a BIG player in the marketplace. | loobrush
26/1/2016 21:14 | Bravo -thanks for that link -what a good speaker he is and a nice guy too ( he answers my e-mails!) You either buy the story or you don't -I do Splendid S | sweenoid
26/1/2016 20:15 | This video piece with Simon Cole is a good up-to-date introduction to the company, its vision for the digital music industry and where 7Digital fits in, as well as a discussion about the Snowite acquisition... well worth a watch | iainbarclay
26/1/2016 10:58 | Yep, well done on your buy Someuwin , you really should cash in the profit, it's not often a 100% rise comes along in a few days, don't be greedy . Streaming IS the way to go . Look at the utilisation of music and media and how it is changing, streaming is in its infancy and its simpy a HUGE GROWING market. Amazon and Apple and Google will always hold sway with the individual listener , but there are massive opportunities B2B and elsewhere here and as I keep banging on there are huge barriers to entry in this business, companies must have huge libraries of music necessitating multiple relationships with ALL the major record labels, they then must have the technology to use it - 7Digital the only provider providing the most high definition audio. Relationships like this take years to develop. More contract wins were promised within a few months in the update. We have successfully changed the business model here and it's going to result in nice recurring revenues , the market may be waking up to the possibilities , we shall see | sweenoid
25/1/2016 13:25 | Looking good. | someuwin
25/1/2016 11:59 | Up 21% today so far-moving along nicely. | loobrush

24/1/2016 23:30 | Maybe he doesnt know the track record of the MD ! | smithie6
22/1/2016 12:00 | 'Cruikshank buy today imo just averaging down.' Knight of The Realm needs to average down ! How dare you ....:] | william_quinn |
