After digesting the Rns I would comment as follows.
Both contracts to me seem excellent news and contract after contract is being announced with little fanfare but they are adding up very nicely.
The radioplayer one follows on from previous European ones and Radioplayer seems to be coming the European standard. This is great news as the annual licence fees are adding up and the majority of the fees go to 7DIG, who run it, as profit as the cost is mostly covered already.
I expect that more announcements will come out month by month as 7DIG grow into a substantial business.
Will.I.am deal should also be confirmed soon.
Time to buy if you have not already done so as this could be big in the new year.

This comment
"As such, the Company does not expect that the new agreement will lead to a change in market expectations with respect to the Company's financial performance."

I am advised by a source close to the company that this refers to the financial
performance for THIS financial year ONLY,as the only figures that are published as MARKET EXPECTATIONS only refer to this year.
So people are reading this wrongly due to the poorly worded RNS.
I expect a new analysis will be published soon which will correct this situation when there will be rapid appreciation in the share price.
So my view is to buy now before this occurs.

Good solid news

Radioplayer could very well be a much higher earner than imagined

Funnily enough, the last contract (the will.i.am watch one) also wasn't expected to make much difference to the numbers.

Looks to me like all these contracts are actually worth very little. Which backs up recent press reports of the questionable viability of music streaming services like spotify etc.

"The revenue from this service further supports the transition from 7digital's historical downloading business to new revenues from streaming services and underpins the Board's revenue expectations. As such, the Company does not expect that the new agreement will lead to a change in market expectations with respect to the Company's financial performance."

No numbers given. But they clearly won't make much difference to expected rvenue...

"Both contracts involve upfront payments and monthly recurring revenues, which underpin the Company's revenue expectations for the current year."

Surprised such a small movement in the share price on such contracts.

Contract wins

7digital (AIM:7DIG), the digital music and radio services company, announces two new contracts that demonstrate strategic progress in the areas of hi-resolution digital music and streaming radio services.

Panasonic Hi Resolution Music Service

7digital has been appointed by Panasonic to launch a new hi-resolution music service under their iconic Technics audio brand. 'Technics Tracks', a service enabling music lovers to rediscover tracks and albums from an exceptional catalogue of 24-bit hi-resolution audio, will be available in the UK and Germany from January 2015. The service has been custom built for Technics by 7digital with music purchased on the platform stored in a cloud locker ready for download to multiple devices, with customers of Technics audio hardware in mind.

Radioplayer To Launch in Ireland

Also today, the Company is pleased to announce that the Radioplayer technology, which gives listeners easy access to streamed radio services and which 7digital licenses internationally, will be launched in Ireland for mobile devices by early December 2014. Following deals for Radioplayer in the UK, Germany, Belgium and Norway, the Irish radio industry has now agreed to adopt the technology. National broadcaster Raidió Telefís Éireann (RTÉ) and the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland (IBI) have agreed to licence the Radioplayer technology for an initial three year term.

Both contracts involve upfront payments and monthly recurring revenues, which underpin the Company's revenue expectations for the current year.

Simon Cole, CEO of 7digital, commented:

"Today shows great progress in two areas identified as key growth drivers: high quality audio and streamed radio. The 'Technics Tracks' service is an extremely exciting partnership for us. We have identified connectivity in the home as a major opportunity and have invested in our hi-resolution catalogue and capability ahead of this demand. The re-launch of Technics represents a fantastic opportunity to showcase these capabilities in partnership with a visionary audio company and one of the world's leading hi-fidelity brands. At the same time, our new relationship with the Irish radio industry means that more than 650 radio stations will be using Radioplayer as their streaming platform."

Director of Brand Strategy for Panasonic, David Preece said:

"Technics Tracks' will be a vital tool for us to deliver the perfect overall premium audio experience. We understand the uniquely emotionally-engaging experiences that listeners crave for when playing their favorite tracks and see the remarkable revelations that music lovers have when they experience true hi-resolution music delivered by our scintillating new hardware. We're incredibly excited to be driving the growth in hi-resolution music availability. Now we want to make the experience of exploring the highest-quality music formats more engaging and more accessible than ever before."

JP Coakley, Director of Operations, RTÉ Radio said:

"This is a big step forward by our mature industry; bringing simplicity and variety to digital listeners on a strong, robust platform with tons of potential".

HP advertising 12 months free music streaming when buy an HP laptop

and streaming is not from 7DIG

Good luck to 7DIG but the competition are bigger, and much richer imo.....

and as we know from the Beta vs VHS contest.....sometimes the winner results from being bigger
======

And another month almost over.....another 500k of cash eaten up....and no news at all imo of any deals that are providing income now...

(Will I am product......
will it actually be made ?, will it sell well against competition from Apple, Samsung etc ?....how many yrs till it produces any income for 7DIG, if any ?....and will 7DIG already have burnt all its cash before then

neither 7Digital nor UBC had a history of making profits........while both had a history of losing money for investors)

News not out yet, wait for a confirmation RNS and then you might be surprised to where the price will go to as company value still very tiny, few loose shares and institutions may want to get on board.

Strange share price action here was not a pump and dump in my view.
The share price responded to articles in press regarding Will.I.Am and the tie up with his watch which generated the rise.
What made it fall was what seemed a rather negative RNS from the company and no further press comment. It is now lower than the price was before the news
However the deal with Will.I.Am is still on but clearly has not been finalised yet.
When this is finalised I'm sure an RNS will be issued plus probably what this means to 7Digital.
There is regular newsflow from 7digital and I expect this to continue as they have only recently morphed into the company they are today.
Not too much is understood about this company and what their plans are but it has a very heavyweight board of directors and clearly they intend great things to happen.
I expect some exciting news to be released in the next few weeks and I hope clarification of there future plans
Confirmation of the Will.I.Am deal and other news will in my opinion push the shares back to previous highs as the share price drop to todays level is a way oversold position.
The effect the Will.I.Am deal will have on the company should not be underated.
