btw
If were to issue new shares before summer since cash about gone...then need a cap. re-organisation imo.....since nom. value is 10p ..by law cant issue below that nom. value....doing a split of 10:1 with 9 deferred shares is the possible type of thing....and deferred shares declared as worthless....to make nom. value 1p/share

----

Cruikshank buy today
imo just averaging down.....natural thing for human minds ...& phps to reassure big hldrs....doesnt mean it'll go up though imo

Each to own view.
imo the co. has failed to hit targets and is heading for new cash raise since losses have about eaten all of previous cash raise AND money from selling BOOM shares.....while producing flat turnover in last 4 six month periods.

And still loss making

..while at same time the investors that put up new cash at 27p have lost most of it.....

READ THE RNS about cost control-this is a becoming digital business so only needs a few extra staff for lots of extra business. Also it is reducing high overhead work it use to do as it increases the new digital low overhead business that's why its margins have increased dramatically..

"High margins"....
Depends how you calculate them....

If include staff costs then the margin would imho be lower.
(Business & turnover needs workers)

I agree with you Sweenoid a tremendous update-looks like they are going great guns.
Once they get past the break even point profits will rocket with the sort of margins they are earning.
Company is not really noticed at the moment and investors have not seen that the business they are moving into has very high margins and high barriers to entry and a very high powered board.
Brokers can see it however, that's why they have targets of 30-38p.

Dont worry about broker price targets

Gopro share price has divided by 6.....& brokers just reduce their target in parallel..but after the event...but always higher than mkt price....fantasy in Gopro case. (I tweeted as a short at 80$..insanity.now 10$)

I don't see how these broker tp's of 38p and 30p stack up....they keep being repeated by finnCap and Investec, even alongside forecsat negative earnings.

Revenues from
- content
- production
- licensing

??
Results should come with a translation dictionary
(Production ?
7DIG now has its own music bands and produce music content ??!!. No)

Can see that the MD is SC !!

---
working with a part of Triplay
Triplay claimed to be similar in importance to iTunes
Never heard of them !

---

Triplay look to have bought a emusic entity that was on its knees.
7DIG buying French emusic entity that is also on its knees
...while 7DIG is loss making and overall turnover has not risen
Not a pretty sector imho.
----

Blah blah and blah.
EBITDA loss reduced they say....but they dont give any info at all.....so imho the loss sitn is still bad and they dont want to reveal it ! Poor service to any investors risking their money imho. They deserve to be told.

What is that old saying about turnover being meaningless and that making profits is what is important.

4 half years in a row with no turnover growth (while margin has apparently improved)
Need to raise money imo since runs out in 2016 imo; summertime or in order to issue annual report with 'on-going concern' statement ?

Fabulous updates today :-)

Grossly undervalued -there is a massive opportunity outside of Apple and Amazon and very big barriers to entry for any competitors. Margin growth tremendous and transition to new business model mostly complete.

Very happy with the update, but not the share price , a great long term investment at this price, I predict a 300% PLUS increase over the next 2-3 years

Quite a big hitter joining the other boys including other directors including
Sir Donald Cruickshank, a director of Qualcomm Inc, non-executive
chairman
Sir Hossein Yassaie, chief executive of Imagination Technologies
Group plc
Eric Cohen, SVP Corporate Development at Dolby Inc

These guys don't get involved with a company going nowhere.

He is associated with a company which owns 20% of 7Dig. 7Dig need to raise money. He wants to keep his finger on the pulse.

Interesting new NED appointed... what can be read between these lines?

7digital (AIM:7DIG), the digital music and radio services company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul McGowan as a non-executive director of the Company.

Mr. McGowan founded retail restructuring group Hilco UK in 2000 in a joint venture with Hilco, where he currently serves as Chief Executive to the company. Paul is also currently the Chairman of HMV, the entertainment retailer, as well as Denby Pottery Group in the UK and the KRAUS Flooring group in Canada. Goodmans Capital Investment Limited, a company within the Hilco group, is the beneficial owner of 20.3% of the Company's issued share capital.

There is a line in the RNS that says that the acquisition "Accelerates 7digital's profitability".

There are some interesting figures re streaming and music consumption released this morning by the BPI... hxxps://www.bpi.co.uk/home/bpi-2015-music-market-report.aspx

"Audio streaming up 82 per cent – digital formats now account for 54 per cent of all UK music consumption."

"26.8 billion audio streams represent over a fifth (22 per cent) of music consumed in UK – although if streaming through music video sites were to be added, the combined total for streams would top the 50 billion mark (53.7 billion."

I topped up this morning, and course it shows as a sell!

....Im still negative about 7DIG...

Although there are some plus pts from the acquisition such as increased turnover and reach...& that the dirs. are trying to do things...

7DIG loss making & profitability is not in sight imo & running out of money

Buying another loss maker doesnt revolutionise things.
Clearly no one else wanted the French music streamer.

Taken on more debt onto books. Which 7 DIG doesnt want to pay now or soon....I assume since wld put a hole in accounts.
More debt = more risk

There will be some layoff costs in France which 7DIG must pay I assume as the owner, hitting cash left.
----

Btw how many readers of this post or wives/kids pay for music streaming services ?

Im not convinced the public are that bothered/interested about paying for such a service.

Fair to say that I have been dissapointed at 7DIG share performance to date however the company seems to be doing well with new contracts all over the world.
This latest deal adds to the pile and looks to be an excellent buy.
I think that when the next results are out we should be pleasantly surprised at the progress being made.
Hopefully they will move into a profit situation in the near future and when that happens shares should move up rapidly as from that point profits should accelerate as they add new contracts.Todays price may be the bottom.

This is an incredibly illiquid stock,

It's not flavour of the month with the City boys and because of the liquidity is not really traded, I am betting on the fact streaming is THE way to go and barriers to entry in this business are large. You either have the catalogues and relationships with the big 'labels' or you don't

7Digital DO - that makes them an unrecognised leader in a potentially very profitable business, only time will tell, if I buy more it will be a trade significantly higher than the one you alluded to ;-)
