I found this video interesting, have not got round yet to look at the other videos by the same doctor, he has 2.4 million followers. Tried to get rid of ads at beginning but failed.

Airbag, I think that sums up the likely situation well. The administrators at the AGM confirmed that they (4D) did have an alternative funding package on the table to take out OF. At the time their first choice was to see if that option was still on the table while in admin. My guess is that the reason the resolution at the AGM was to be able to issue up to 100% of the shares in issue, was to be able to utilise this new funding package but administration was brought about before it could be actioned. Reading between the lines with what admin and the BoD said at the AGM, OF had no need to place this in admin but these US lenders can be very aggressive in a downturn market and probably saw the opportunity to ring fence their loan.

Podium, agree it does all seem suspicious but BOD would have had to sacrifice large chunks of their own money if this was the intention. That is a risky game to play for BOD which is why I think they were simply naive.

I think they got caught out by the bear market in BioTechs. They never foresaw such a destruction in Share price, they simply didn't have this on their radar. They ploughed more of their own money in at 110p. They really thought share price was going to go through the roof on NASDAQ launch. In their minds they were better than Seres and that firm was valued at way more.

But worse than that, as the share price was on the way down they were blinkered into not issuing more shares for fear of diluting their own holdings.

Clearly the market didn't believe the story.

Hopefully one day we will actually find out if the science works.

Unless they have some ideas on highlighting to the relevant authorities what appears to have been an intentional steer towards an iceberg... A financing deal that was a suicide pack. A funder that boasts of high sums lent, who wet themselves over a few million. All has a strong whiff about it.

These closed groups, whether on twitter or any other platform, tend to be a lot of nonsense. If there is anything useful happening in that group, I am sure one of the contributors will post it on here.

Exactly, think of it as something you weren't really expecting but I hope you get some form of relief for such a ridiculous and total destruction of shareholder value here!

...With regards to the other, even I'm seriously contemplating building a position in ASOS but those instituitional shorts provide some anxiousness but forget Mike Ashley, with the strength in the dollar, its becoming a very interesting proposition for potential T/O by willing parties in the US especially PE buddy so look around the wider UK markets for SME 'Growth' type companies especially within those 'Hot Sectors' but whose valuations have been completely annihilated with those uncontrollable external factors!

...Fevertree although not Tech is another that's getting very interesting around current valuations.

I doubt DP let it just go into administration for peanuts buddy, he and 4D management made an serious error of judgement into believeing OF would be compromising if they didn't adhere to the terms of the contractual arrangement but unfortunately it came to bite and thats what makes that sc_um US so great, exploit the vulnerable and conquer!

...And it wouldn't be a total surprise if Seres ending up buying 4Ds assets for pittance either man!

NO ! But to be brutally honest ... i don't care ... only priority is survival !! USA Mkts have 700 million tied up in our closest competitor SERES ...Good news coming out on all fronts in this space .....And DP let's us go in to administration for peanuts....... or if he's genuine... was coaxed in to it by OF .... imo Steve O ... Correct and DP said at the AGM ( while in administration) that he and Alex expected Merck to take 3 forward which would lead to an initial pay out in Autumn of $5 to $10m per vaccine. IMO, Merck will buy 4D, why wouldn't they? Alternatively, if these milestone payments land soon ($15-30m), some refinance is put in place and 4D is out of admin. It is not the doom and gloom some are making out. A fire sale would have happened now. A good friend who is an administrator for a large worldwide firm said that the admins he does, most are completed in a few weeks. Something else behind the scenes here and no news is good news as they are clearly working on something.

When a company has only got (at the time of suspension) 7m USD and the administrators eat that up at a rate of 500k GBP per month. Then it's an issue
