AGL doing a primary bid placing this evening for pi's. Why didnt 4D do that when they knew they had problems, instead of going into administration?

I wouldn't be suprised in the least TPC with such compelling Tech for the future but 4D investors have still been led up the proverbial garden path!

How long before 4D reinvent themselves and appear under a new banner ? Never got in too deep with this one, should have bailed out at an earlier point but water under the bridge now, onwards and upwards !

Hur had and still has some illustrious albeit unscrupulous instituitonal investors as well as underlying 'Aged' old assets in the North Sea which were exaggerated by previous management but fortunately they're able to be commercialised quickly...

4D has nothing of the sort and the IP is still some light years away from any commercial potential but who in the right mind is going to pay handsomely for that potential now...You've got to be 'Gung-Ho' but maybe Musk fits that bill perfectly!

Yes - I think they'd probably get plenty of takers at 5p to be honest. I have sneaking feeling that they might just manage this - similar to Hurricane but there they just about avoided having to go into admin first - outcome here will be significantly worse for existing holders but even if they see existing business valued at a range of £3-£10m that would be a very good result given the BoD incompetence.

Yes but what 'Value' is there for existing shareholders if any even if that placing arrives buddy?

...And with the dire economic climate, a potential suitor holds all the Aces here and will no doubt dictate it accordingly but its incredibly unlikely of being favourable to anyone apart from them...This is nothing more than a farce of the highest accord and unfortunately for the common shareholder buddy.

...These incompetent fo_ols should never be allowed to hold directorships in any form ever again...Period!

The operative words being 'If Additional Capital is Secured'...

Not exactly the perfect economic scenario for such an exercise currently and the common shareholder will invariably be the last to bear fruit if the company is in anyway successful especially at 4Ds last available valuation.

That's assumimg Merck will want it, but it would keep any undesirable loss of IP to the "wrong" new owner & only a drop in the ocean for Merck..

The thing is if someone is willing to invest 50m they could exit in two years with 200m. Currently shareholders might get 5% of total business if lucky but that's a darn sight better than zero.

They are still doing the current trial for existing patients so there is a statement of intent there to keep the trial going. It's just new recruits.

I hope you are wrong tony1974, while the financial loss is not something i welcome, the real setback is that they seemed to have products that might make a real difference to those whose illnesses need these medicines.
I hope that they will survive this setback not for myself but for those who will benefit health wise from their survival. While this may seem like a novel point of view in particular to those who have been shorting this company it is my point of view.
