29/3/2006 13:52 | no point selling at this price....thought we would of had news regarding sale. | ![]() spcecks
29/3/2006 13:35 | T1ps just posted an update. They sound overly impressed with no news of takeover , only a hold but see little downside risk. | gazza12
29/3/2006 13:31 | Only if the company had any cash. My opinion would be that if it shut the doors tomorrow we would receive at most 5p/share. Obviouslt as time goes on this will drop. I think this is now double or bust. | gazza12
29/3/2006 13:07 | If the management failed to attract a buyer, would the shareholders get any money if the business was just closed down. | ![]() bluelynx
29/3/2006 13:06 | Woah! This is tremendous! | 2ricks
29/3/2006 12:54 | How, fair enough - my average is 13 and if i could get out at that i would say thanks every time. The business to me appears very straightforward. It has been 4 months since they said they were up for sale, surely a deal would of been done before now. The longer it goes on the more likely the share price reduces. We will see but am very tempted to get out but only being offered 8p for my shares. I'll wait a bit longer and hope for the best. Good luck to all and Made 40p for CEY within 6 weeks. | gazza12
29/3/2006 12:24 | yes me too 10.5p so small loss on cash no one will walkaway from turnover of 10m with 4m cash and it could do 10 turnover in a good year no prob | made1686
29/3/2006 10:20 | Gazza12 I am already in at an average of 10.8p, so happy to hold and wait. | ![]() howdlep
29/3/2006 10:11 | its not all bad pair gain thingy up 19% on larst year turnover has halfed year on year so 2m less is not hafe often so some one may buy to add turnover and 2.5m profit to they company all so a lot of tax losses,,s now thay got the bad news out they may get a sale now | made1686
29/3/2006 09:50 | Spot on made. Sorry for sounding so negative but anyone who believes the company will be taking over should be snapping up the shares. Howdlep put your money where your mouth is. | gazza12
29/3/2006 07:27 | Cash more or less equal to market cap. at year end. So you get a business generating £2.3m of gross profits for free. I don't think this is the right moment to rush out and buy the shares, especially as the envisaged "further consolidation" will put a drag on the bottom line BUT Gloomy though the statements are, the value is there to be seen. The certificates can sit in the bottom drawer a little longer so far as I am concerned. DYOR etc. | compoundup
29/3/2006 07:17 | As for going bust, they have cash of: - £4,359,000 / 40,500,000 (nbr shares) = 10.76p Costs cut so burn reduced. So you can sell for 9p or wait for the bid. Just remember that any buyer will be able to take on the historic tax losses, so won't be paying tax for years. | ![]() howdlep
29/3/2006 07:13 | Gazza12 "We have made a number of presentations to interested parties, including companies from the UK, USA, Europe and Asia, and continue to be in discussions with potential suitors. A further announcement in relation to the outcome of these discussions will be made as soon as practicable." | ![]() howdlep
29/3/2006 06:41 | Not a word about the sale - i think the company is going bust. | gazza12
28/3/2006 09:10 | tick up here soon | made1686
24/3/2006 14:53 | Who is TW, and where does he get this figure of 30p from? We know the company has put the for sale sign up and has cash which which underpins the current but recent trading does not suggest a bid starting with a 3, but still watching with interest. ;--)) | ![]() charmer1_23
24/3/2006 14:28 | Nice 3000 sell just gone through. Why take 20p later when you can get 10.01p right now! I wonder whether the mm's will hold back a trade or two? | ![]() howdlep
24/3/2006 10:31 | No chance of bid around 30p more likely 18-20p imo. | gazza12
24/3/2006 10:11 | TW still hopeful of a bid @ 30p, although I would be happy with 20p. Just need patience | ![]() howdlep
24/3/2006 09:58 | Good we shall be able to see just how close the current market cap is to the cash on the balance sheet. Hopefully, there will also be news as to progress on the sale of the company. | ![]() howdlep
