I did tell you why made1686 !

Wins had a protected order and when another mm jumped over them
like Evo did when they went from 18p to 20p bid they had to chase
up the bid to try and get stock, however all those punters who had
noticed how cheap TSP appeared saw it was moving up and bought in thus
causing the price to rise sharply more, the sad thing i knew this was
going to happen yet i could not buy in because i only spread bet now
and TSP is not spreadable so it's a bit fustrating for me.
It should move higher tomorrow, lots of big buys at 23p and bid only
21.5p.

Sometime you just know that was going to happen.

Evo leapfrog wins and wins who imho have the protected order
had to chase up to get back on the bid, they are now bidding
21.5p online for 50k...a good size in this stock, expect some
delayed buys to show.

There's definately a protected buyer still in the stock, the bid
size is now upto 50k from 37.5k and at 19.5p.

Agree totally, but they need a line or two of cash generation to really move forward with great steam. Only then, will we hear the whistle & clear calls of; 'ALL ABOARD!' I'm optimistic they've at least hedged their quotes & have similar fingers in other pies. We'll see how it pans out soon enough. The size of BT deal is one player, not difficult to gauge global potential then in these areas. TSP is well placed & well managed imo to make in-roads. Question is, will they, and then by how much will they be re-rated, if and when they succeed.

Fingers crossed, but little reason to be overly concerned at this price and at this time, as it's awash with cash. GG

Fair comments goldengoose.

Like you say though it looks very cheap regardless of the
Marconi situation.

Gravy - don't you think some of the pull-back has something to do with Marconi, surely their loss to BT might have had a knock-on effect. I'm still very positive, but let's hope TSP has it's hand in all the right places! GG

I've only just realised this morning when researching recent
TSP rns's just how cheap they are and i wish i had noticed this
a few months back when they were trading around 10p, i can understand
how they got to 30p recently and can see why a protected buyer mopped
up all the smaller sells on Friday, i can see this moving quickly up
when the mm do decide to go blue, definately one to have on your monitor
for when that happens, still cant be sure though if this is the new bottom
for the price but if there is any more weakness then pounce on it.

Because the mm has not had to chase for stock, look at the
trades and you'll see that they've acquired the stock easily
with the panic selling in this market and made a great turn,
had there been no selling the mm would have had to raise the
bid to fill the order, the quote is still good so it looks
like they want more imho.

why,,,,s it not up then

And there's the reason why the quotes are that good.

100k protected buy at 20.75p...good sign in this market.

Online quotes much better than yesterday but still prefer
to wait for first move on that spread before committing a punt.

19.5p bid for 37.5k v 20.5p offer for 25k.

Actually more buys than sells once you work out the delayed
trades, as soon as i see blue i will buy in, when the mm's
are in this dire mood best to wait incase it get cheaper first.

Gravy

Watching these now for a trade....no mercy today...i never seen
the mm's slash prices so much on so little selling and unless there's
delayed trades TSP is no exception.
Good if you are looking to buy but hurts a lot when you already hold.

From BT'S 2Ist Century Network Announcement this morning

The selection of these eight suppliers will allow dozens of smaller and
innovative subcontractors to become involved in the delivery of the 21st Century
Network. The programme will attract significant new investment and employment to
the UK.

Anyone know whether Telspec might benefit ?
