MILAN — Amid a rush within NATO to rally around next-generation combat aircraft, new alliance member Sweden is taking a pause to assess what’s next for its lineage as a warplane-producing country.

The Nordic state in 2022 suspended its flirtation with one of Europe’s two marquee airpower efforts, the Global Combat Air Programme, an initiative led by the U.K., Italy and Japan that seeks to deliver a sixth-generation fighter capability by 2035.

For the whole of this long weekend any investor buying a ticket for the *Mello2024* event will be given the bonus of being able to bring a friend or family member completely free of charge. Worth getting a friend to join with you and halving the cost maybe...

Will end at market open on Tuesday as it is a bank holiday weekend so plenty of time to connect

Mello2024 investor conference takes place on the 22nd and 23rd May Do come and join us....another six companies added to the list today and another six to be announced on Monday.

We want to keep this important face to face engagement with companies going and it has been tough since Covid as many directors just want to do webinars as their only token offering to investors. If you want to ask private questions or check out body language it is impossible on webinars and investors need to network with each other too.

Please support us and encourage companies/ management teams you are in contact with to come along to Mello2024 in Chiswick on 22nd or 23rd May

Mello2024 – Mello Events

If you have never been to one of our two day conferences before then clearly you are missing a great opportunity to engage with management teams and also network with hundreds of likeminded investors so we are offering virgin tickets at just £30 for either of the days so that you can see what it is all about.....a big discount from £99.00 and if you do not agree having spent the day with us I will give you an annual pass to our virtual shows on top. I just want investors engaging with all these quality smaller companies. This offer is only if you have never attended before so please be fair to all those who pay much more.... It seems the Company mouthpiece continues to spew forth
Nothing about this then?

Probably because
1)Al Yamamah was a key national security contract for BAE

2) This is how business is done in the Middle East.

Nothing to see here unless youre a woke progressive leftie frankly.

What's your interest in such?

Developed with Tempest in mind!.....

The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has so far missed the opportunity of utilising advanced manufacturing technologies developed through a cancelled unmanned aircraft demonstrator programme in future products, a leading supplier has argued.

Speaking as part of the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee’s inquiry into defence spending in the country on 1 May, Nick Laird, managing director for European space and defence at Spirit AeroSystems in Belfast, referenced the uncrewed combat air vehicle it had been developing alongside Northrop Grumman under Project Mosquito.

BAE Systems has received a $87.2 million contract from the U.S. Navy for repair work aboard the dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50).
The contract includes options that, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to $92.2 million.

Under the competitively-awarded contract, the USS Carter Hall will undergo a year of restorative work at the company’s shipyard in Norfolk, Virginia, which is also the ship’s homeport. BAE Systems will begin working aboard the 610-foot-long ship in July 2024, performing a combination of maintenance and preservation work on the ship’s hull, its internal fuel and ballast tanks, and the engineering plant.

BAE Systems was selected by NASA to develop the Atmospheric Composition instrument (ACX) that will fly on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) satellite constellation.

GeoXO is a constellation of three satellites meant to expand on Earth observations made by its predecessor, NOAA’s current Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites-R series (GOES-R). The mission will continue to gather data in support of key NOAA focus areas, such as lightning mapping and visible and infrared imagery for weather monitoring. However, GeoXO will also provide novel, high-priority capabilities such as atmospheric composition, infrared sounding and ocean color observations to enhance forecasts and science benefits.

BAE has a bulging order book-Commissions worth £37.7Bn were received last year & UK Gov pledge to increase Defence spending will keep this flowing.

Defence giant lodges plans for research facility

A defence giant's new research facility would support the design and building of "the most advanced submarines ever operated by the Royal Navy".

BAE Systems has lodged plans to build Project Spartan, a four-storey construction on the site of a former munitions factory in Barrow, Cumbria.

They will get the money like they always do by. encouraging everybody to save and buy. their own house with the. tax paid money. so as they can struggle all their lives and then for the government. to charge you. inheritance tax. which is completely over the top. to pay for all these people that do not pay into the system. It's time to get out of this country. But where As it's definitely not England anymore or should. I should I say Great Britain.
